It is now !
Is that the end of standard general’s bid now?
Anyone tell me if that RNS is good or bad news!!!!
Interesting to see the Form 8.5 from Peel Hunt today disclosing a big multiple of the volume seen on previous days
Something clearly brewing - the HF announcement seems to have been a catalyst
You could have missed the boat as so much has happened since Rodime reversed into Sportech which is now a completely diff company from the Sportech of Littlewoods Pools. Your holdings may have lapsed at this stage. Your broker might help but tbh I think it's a forlorn hope. Hope you didnt have a load of money invested!
Gluck.
Shot in the dark but I have just dug out an old Rodime share certificate which I never transferred over to Sportech, any ideas how I could do it? Or if it's worth it? Cheers all.
Simon Cawkwell of Evil'k Nevil fame has bght a chunk thinking these are worth North of 40. I've been long gone here having done very well over the years so am loathe to chance my arm again. SC is pretty spot on his selections. Is the Tote worth £80m?
Trevor Hemmings thinks so.
and bounced,the next day.
some unusually large trades atm?
Sold everything wretched 3 months for the stock market..can't beat the market makers !
Barchart technicals now swinging to buy territory, looks like the recent investors got in at cheap prices...for long term growth for the US markets
I think they got the timing wrong on the buy note 39p to 28p in 1 month..
Last week there was an 8% drop in one day 20,000 shares more in favour of sells to buys so lets say 6k£ but equivalent to over £5.6 million wiped of the market cap...charting...
I purchased only a few at around 38p and added again over the last week..
Market makers pulling it down on technicals (barchart.com) share drop on hardly any volume to shares in issue is ridiculous.. Over sold territory and will hopefully due a bounce.
Either way if it goes lower - add. This is a mid-long term hold and anyone buying in now is getting a great price. Over 80% stock is held by institutions and recent Director share purchases >40p is a positive.
Good call there.

IC have a Buy note last week on this stock

Great news you said earlier in the year. It's near halved. Go away. Now.
It is just possible after the Rodime days that sportech's long suffering shareholders stand a chance of making money. Unfortunately it is a case of jam tomorrow, at least their prospects have sustantially improved.
This has to be great news for SPO as the Americans just love to gamble?
See u on G.... as Spo no longer interests me. Zam aint doing much just a tad left in a partnership. Gluck.
Hi JL , again i apologise about the delay replying. and still the SP goes north . yes i got out of the blood one as i was lucky to catch the last bounce and come out even i think. lol. Zam i wish that had worked out thought that would have been a long term investment. Got a little in GENL and i follow slightly & wish i had kept all my PMO . damm. ATB bud.
Morning comeonvog....Indeed as you know well the mrkt over reacts at times. Spo down in the low 30's was a great punt for the brave given the negative press n' all. I briefly thought of putting some back in the 40's but I've been around this stock all my life...or so it seems....so that's it for me unless I win the pools or something and I'd have wanted a wedge at 40+ to be even half interested! Have a smidge in Zam GNL and an Idea thats paid off just to keep the wheels turning. That blood thing went private and very much in Woodfords hands now as he owns near 70%....well bloody scripted imo. We await 2016 /2017 results!! Lse closed down the chat room but a few of us 'remainers' gather on ADVN. I seem to remember you being in at one time.....most likely had the good sense to bail. Gluck...
Hi JL . Sorry about the delay returning you message. I was looking at the drop and deciding weather to get a few and then with trouble i have been having with other stocks completely forgot about SPO. Now that was a missed chance. ATB
