congratulations jez the fez.you are officially my first ever on the filter after 8 years.
£6k in MYSQ, £6k in sound, isn't £6k the maximum you can have invested or hold in saving before you lose your benefits? Drives a 17 year old car, lives above a chippy with his brother, eats cheap shi ite, overweight/big boned, holidays in Benidorm or whatever dump it was, working age but spends all day and night on here?? And you expect people to come on here asking for sympathy off you....LOL
Saw 'T21 SOU' on the M6 the other week, maybe we've got another 11 drills to go.
Great achievement Jez. You seem to be grateful for any hint of validation. Is that a common twin symptom. Has Simon been more successful?
I seem to remember you wanted to treat yourself to a 2nd hand Audi A1 from your MYSQ money (£6k) but that has been scuppered.
The point is - why........ if you are scratching around for a 2nd hand budget car, and are single (by choice (not sure whose choice)), and have made poor health choices, you were retired but are not now and money is tight.......would you be considered a good guide for investment decisions? Or maybe you are just as delusional as the rest of us.
Actually, all three of those plates I quoted are not available. You'll have to ask Crudehope for some advice as he as far as I am aware, is the only one on here who has a SOU related personal plate.
Is TE07WOW available? I saw it parked outside M&S in Sevenoaks recently
GLA
There's plenty of plates to choose from.
TE10 YUK, TE09 YUK, TE11 NOO.
I do hope for BM’s sake they don’t play pin the tail on the donkey. The man can’t find gas in a field the size of Belgium, he’s hardly likely to find the anatomical sweet spot on an animal smaller than a horse!
GLA
Is it one of these N Irish plates? JTZ 345
Would look good parked outside the chip shop

It will be new in the sense of replacing my current one, but I never buy a brand new car, no. Waste of money due to depreciation. My current car is 17 years old but has pretty much flown through its MOT at VW who commended me on the state of it. It's very enjoyable to drive and very comfortable too and I have a new personal number plate to go onto it this week. What's not to like?!
Jez - as soon as LE happens (you say) you’ll treat yourself to a new car?? So is it choice?? Another mistruth.
The point I was trying to make to Jobbs is that I have nothing to lose and that's a luxury to have these days. Jobbs can live in his fantasy world if he chooses, but there are many on here who have gambled more than they can afford to lose out of pure greed and ironically, they will be the first ones who come on here publicising the fact that they have lost their house and their marriage has failed. I choose not to be married and that doesn't make me a weirdo. I choose to drive a banger because every posh car I have ever driven end up being trashed and I don't have a house. Fat shaming is a form of bullying and he only needs to check out the current news to see that it's a hot topic right now. I have a 4.4% cholesterol rating, go to the gym most days and walk / run/ swim. I don't think that makes me morbidly obese. I'm just big boned I guess!
This shows how bitter you are Jez........”The difference between me and some of you is that should I lose all my money on his investment, it's not going to cost me my house, my car, my marriage and my general wellbeing”............
I imagine you would revel in the opportunity to say “I told you so” for the reasons you detail above.
In reality it won’t cost you any of those things because: you have a broken car, a poor house, no marriage, and you are bordering on being morbidly obese so that ship has sailed anyway.
Looking at SXX after the announcement this morning showed that again (if the posts are true - which I guess many are not) that people can be foolish. It will be a real shame if things don’t work out here but anyway betting their future needs “their head read”.
Andytr,
Not true. They have another game of 'pin the tail on the donkey' planned for 2pm today. The only issue they foresee is that they have a shortage of tails available to pin, down in Sevenoaks.
Jobbs - I won't throw in the towel. Not at this late stage. It's now become a binary gamble. If I win then fair play and if not then I am not going to sulk and cry like a baby because I have already written the money off in my head. Have you mentally and somewhat physically prepared for what may happen? I suspect not. My whole portfolio is currently showing a paper loss. It doesn't mean I will sell any of them. That probably makes me a bad investor, but selling now will be like giving up and so long as there is a glimmer of hope, I'll keep my chips on the table. Believe me, I am so not alone when I say this. Most of us are nursing averages higher than the current share price. The difference between me and some of you is that should I lose all my money on his investment, it's not going to cost me my house, my car, my marriage and my general wellbeing. I'll eat spam today and I'll be eating spam whatever the result is. Just don't come on here moaning that you've lost your house and the wife is leaving you because you won't get any sympathy from anybody this time around.
It's frustrating knowing that JP and co are probably spending their days doing sweet FA
Practicing on me??? No idea what you mean Jez.
Don’t be too sensitive about missing the joke, there may have been another person not smart enough to understand the joke. Simon maybe?
If you are so smart and so convinced of failure.....why would you not sell? Isn’t that oxymoronic? It is idiocy or lack of courage in your “deductions”?? I think it is probably both. And there’s plenty of evidence to support that.
Jobbs?
I will see it that my newest appointment, ChipandPutt, earns his job title practicing on you. The only idiot that is left in suspense on this bb is you because you still believe there's a way out of this mess. Anybody with half a brain cell would not allow the past hyping of this share cloud their present judgement.
"he will continue to make fools out of all of us"
don't think you need any help on that score lad :)
Was the "bear with us" also a joke. I can't imagine allowing a bear into the inner sanctum at Sevenoaks even on "bring your wife to work day".
Jones, what an earth are you on about....?
Firstly, I have no aliases, and secondly...it would still be were and not was!
Anyway, that’s enough of that silliness....others such as Jobbinsci seem to be backing me up. Sure I’m not going totally mad:)
Jez - i’m Pretty sure the “idiot in suspense” post was a joke. It would seem as though it achieved the right result though.........given that you have taken nearly a week to realise.
How do you keep an idiot in suspense? You tell him tomorrow. Hence why Seaton won't receive a call back from Parsons.
The days, weeks, months are ticking-on by and soon enough we will receive the RNS stating that we are "going long." I can't see there being a LE this side of Christmas. I'm just not picking-up the vibe that something amazing is just around he corner. Too many signs that tell me otherwise. I guess we're all just idiots being kept in suspense for now.
Next week will be 4 months on from whence the "Marketing Process" commenced, back on May 22nd. That surely has to be enough time to keep your finger on the "pause" button IMHO but they could easily let this process drag-on for a while longer. The school fees need paying. I would take anything BM says with a pinch of salt these days. He is still standing in some imaginary room with 6TCF under his belt. The reality is that he has one molecule in his underpants and that's probably a fart brewing. Nuff said.
I think he joked that it would definitely be done by 31 0ct implying the deal would be finalised. But given BM couldn’t find a virgin in a convent the size of Belgium I doubt he understands the complexity involved and the best we can hope is that the marketing process would be completed well before October 31
