FC6, doh! F6C.
I have a self customised FC6. I did the NC500 two years ago and the most spectacular way is definitely anti clockwise. Took 3 days to do it staying in Wick, Ullapool and Kyleakin (a short detour to take in Skye). That allows enough time for riding and also not to be in such a hurry as to miss anything and take plenty of stops to enjoy the stunning scenery.
I was lucky enough to live in Germany (Lower Saxony) and I must encourage anyone to also consider touring the Harz mountains. Also Gelmerbahn in Switzerland. Scotland is beautiful but these places are in another league.
Lupi/Cornish/Fira
North Coast 500 - I know people who have done it and loved it - I have not. have not been much to the West Coast of Scotland - must do it some day - before midge season.
Lupi - I cut my grass too on the 28th - earliest ever for me. Ne'er cast a clout till May is oot though.
Trout - thanks for clarifying.
There is still hope of a bright SML summer!
Not likely the cornish have been diluted out.
Cornishknocker "It is funny, you never use to see Cornwall on TV much, at the moment it seems to dominate the schedules."
How long until Cornwall follow Scotland and Wales for their independence :D
Scotland is definitely somewhere i intend to take a trip to one day.
I wont ask you where thelearner. But I am also up on the NE coast, beautiful but exposed. The weather has been nice the past few days and I think that 28th of Feb was the earliest I have ever cut the grass. Poor old trees have no idea whats happening and if we get a hard frost it is going to hurt them. 2 years ago today, it was a blizzard that piled snow for 2 weeks. 2 year on and I am out gardening in a tee shirt.
CornishKnocker - living in a NE Scotland fishing community, I have been loving watching the Cornwall fishing programmes.
Up here fortunately, we have not been priced out of our villages and towns - and unfortunately we hardly have any tourism, but maybe the weather has something to do with this - however we do have spectacular golden sandy beaches and rocky cliffy coastline - it is quite beautiful.
I have given up any hope of a holiday abroad this year - would love to visit Cornwall - but any UK staycation this year is I think going to be terribly expensive and terribly crowded.
Fira - have been reading your posts - hope you are the family are continuing to recover. I only wish the SMP share price recovery was as quick!
Ah, yes, I know the one - it’s normally in Padstein harbour, under the name of Prawn on the Lawn; some fabulous restaurants in that part of north Cornwall.
The restaurant i was talking about is in Padstow - its Prawn on the Farm if you fancy giving it a go.
It is funny, you never use to see Cornwall on TV much, at the moment it seems to dominate the schedules.
Cornish, My family and I are planning our yearly summer pilgrimage to Trebetherick, Polzeath Bay, and Rock - we find it as enjoyable, relaxing, and scenic as the classy parts of the Mediterranean, with an equally top-quality choice of eateries.
We cannot wait for the hordes! God help us@ Its going to be a nuts summer here.
Someone i know put their website live for their restaurant w weeks ago, within 2 hours they had more than 2000 bookings for this summer.
Stew200, could be something happening, I agree.
I am curious on why we seem to not be applying for a bank loan to start producing at LC - after all, with a hugely commercially benign copper market, you would think that banks would lend more favourably to a company like ours, particularly with an off-take partner all ready to buy our copper.
Fira, I like the subliminal negativity :-))
""there is no reason why this will do really well""
Excellent news again.
Everything seems to be fitting into place now for the long term here. With the current commodity prices there is no reason why this will do really well and given the current market capitalisation it presents an extremely good opportunity. I’m expecting 8 to 10p for the next 12 months
