one II share is valued at £440. you cannot sell on open market anywhere at the moment. what was Gavin thinking when he agreed to this?
Looks like the offer is only 10% cash 90% shares in a private company !
Not sure how they have arrived at the value of shares in ii.
Would other brokers hold them ?
Looks like they'll have to bid high to get Oldham to support it

In may interesting times...to come shall we say
Smith999, i will happily be proven wrong, was thinking of selling just to take the profit, the small amount of shares i have i dont think have ever been more than 1 or 2% in the blue so this is certainly a nice change.
LOL welcome to aim that is always the way, Market always knows first.
They wants share customer base have to pay big
More to the point doesn't the previous rise suggest some illegal insider trading before the rns ?
to add to the below, i just hope the platform or the customer services do not change. Why good things have to change i dont know...
Smith999, sorry to interupt your conversation between yourself but why would someone pay big, the SP for this company has been between 25p and 30p for many years, all the time i have been invested with them. Only reason i am in here is as per someones update below it gives you 30% off all trades you make, Great little company always great customer support. If any offer were to come in i would expect it to stay between 25p and 30p which is where the normal SP sits. The rise is just on the speculation that it "might" receive an offer.
Guesss someone wants the j p Morgan accounts
The board of directors of the Company (the "Board") notes the recent rise in the Company's share price. The Board can confirm that it has received a preliminary approach which may or may not lead to an offer being made for the Company. The preliminary approach for the Company is from Interactive Investor Services Limited ("Interactive Investor"). There can be no certainty that an offer will be made for the Company, nor as to the terms on which an offer may be made. Rule 2.6(a) of the Takeover Code, requires that Interactive Investor, by no later than 5.00 p.m. on 31 May 2019 (the "relevant deadline"), either announce a firm intention to make an offer for the Company in accordance with Rule 2.7 of the Takeover Code or announce that it does not intend to make an offer, in which case the announcement will be treated as a statement to which Rule 2.8 of the Takeover Code applies. This deadline will not be extended other than with the consent of the Takeover Panel. This is an announcement falling under Rule 2.4 of the Takeover Code and does not constitute an announcement of a firm intention to make an offer under Rule 2.7 of the Takeover Code. A further announcement will be made as and when appropriate.
I see interactive investor paying big

Could someone come in and pay 60p+ for this. How much would you pay?
o
c.17,000 customer accounts from Beaufort Securities transferred in the second half
o
a book acquisition of a further c.22,000 customer accounts should transfer in 2019
o
together these represent c.£1.5bn of assets under administration
Yeah....bit odd offer price wasn't in the RNS, must been a crappy offer i'm assuming... or at least very close to current SP
That, as ever, is the question...
