Hi All,
i'm back posting again after a short holiday with no internet available to myself and my wife.. This was through choice and not necessity and a welcome break from being surrounded by people constantly texting and chatting.
Disappointing to see the share price fall back to 90p but given the steep climb to 100p and the sharp fall in the price of gold, I suppose it was only to be expected. However, as each week goes by we are getting nearer and nearer to Cononish becoming the first commercial gold mine in the UK.
I continue to be sure we will see the mine up and running and producing gold be the end of the year.

Hello Bellers,
I couldn't agree with you more. It never ceases to amaze me that the LSE and other trading systems can't differentiate between a buy and a sell. We can send men to the moon. Identify a person from their DNA. Micro electronics can put us in contact with people on the other side of the planet in lees than a second. But but but blah blah blah.
Carliol
I managed another buy at 11.42 that manages to show as a sell. Never ceases to amaze me. Sat nav systems that can position to within 10 cms anywhere on the Earth, transferring money from ur phone to anywhere at anytime and yet We can’t differentiate whether someones given money or taken it away on a stock market board. :-)
Morning all from a dull, dreary, drizzly NE. The markets seem to feel the same and some poor SGZ seller has been robbed at 88p!
I should have added to my last post when asking how predictable the Au/Ag price ratio might be in these turbulent times that previous stability already looks unlikely as it has surpassed 70!
On the bright side, SGZ tweeted ~1 hour ago, a picture of the second scoop-tram arrival at Cononish.

Let's get mining lads and build up that ore stockpile!
Regards to all, R.
Russian covid vaccine! What a joke guys. Nothing more than propaganda. Only someone who doesn't know the Russia and how this country is backward can believe in this utter nonsense. Their COVID solution can be another mega bomb or 7.62mm calibre. This is Cossack Horde which doesn't produce anything valuable. This is how is this country constructed.
Evening RM.
Reports on TV this morning suggest that the Russian covid vaccine has been tested on only a fraction of the number of people that would be considered safe by most international standards, so it seems like such commodities are already becoming a strategic and political tool. Expect Trump to tweet about an American version anytime!
Hi CP and Glen.
An interesting divergence of views, but for me, more an illustration of how the truth is what you believe and facts are often elusive............like pirates,............because they arrrrrrrrre! We all depend so much upon statistics, maths and models to understand and make decisions upon complex ideas, but often at the cost of clarity, transparency and fairness, as the Scottish and English education ministers are discovering. A little while ago, a poster here raised the use of inclusion of silver as gold equivalent in gold figures. A common practice in metal mining and trading for valuation convenience, but one which can cause confusion and is dependent upon the fortuitous relative Au/Ag price being very stable at ~47 to 50 since about 1900. I wonder will that continue in these exceptional times? I prefer the clarity and transparency of Cononish data as presented in the tables at the foot of:
https://www.scotgoldresources.com/projects/cononish-project/
though the monetary values could do with an update!
Time to shut up. Florence says it's time for bed.
Goodnight all, R.
So the gold has already in essence been sold at an agreed premium?
Just in time first production and if you add the 30% uplift for scotgold? Boom ££££$$$$$
Interesting interview

Silver $28.76 expected at least 20 to one with gold currently $103 gold $2060 I expect it to finish around $5000 to $10 000 dependent how much printing will occur in the USA
Afternoon all. Looks like record highs for Au @$2070 and Ag @ $21.6. It just gets better for SGZ.
GLA, R.
I dont think its going below £1 after this week again unless they shut down for covid again but im not sure anyone will let go of these shares now if there was another lockdown
Good Morning CP52,
Thanks for the info on the silver reserve content.
The price of gold and silver continue to rise with gold currently at $2052.00 an ounce and silver at $27.77.
It looks as if we could be in for another good increase in the share price today. Perhaps we will see the s p close at over 100p?
Carliol
Hi All,
The price of gold appears to be consolidating above $2000.00 an ounce.

It's worth noting that the price of silver is also showing a substantial increase. Given the amount of silver expected from Cononish the revenue it generates will be a welcome addition to the SGZ coffers.
