Sure to be fair I never envisioned being here this long lol.... Covidity gives us all a chance of seeing serious action sooner than we imagined before it was announced.... who knows when Lindy deems moditope is ready
Crumbs thanks for the reply and a sensible approach IMO. You have a good size holding there. At least that confirms you are not going to leave it all in for a set target price. At some point you need to enjoy any profits you make. Thanks.
moon yeah it looks like your sketch plan is much like mine....
Also, we can assume redmile and Vulpes has a plan....is that take scancell on great data and deals to a multi $billion NASDAQ IPO then cash in? we don't know but would not be surprised if that is possible.... complete buyout is also of course possible... at the moment is about getting great data and turning that into deals ...
False I have sketch plan... which obviously is flexible... I have through years of nibbles built up my core 280k of shares not bad for me maybe small by others standards but enough to be life-changing in perfect situation.... so I have that and have a couple of grand I use to trade which I have here a few times for a few quids ....
Again so it depends on the reason for sp at the time... If I feel market over values scancell that is when I sell some core...
At the moment no tech has been valued and there is lots of tech!
OK, so if the data from the trial indicates that covidity 'works' (i.e. shows antibody and T-cell response) SCLP will almost certainly be over £1. But why on earth would you sell then? When the tech has just been validated and all the big pharmas will be sniffing around? That is still only a £1B market cap. And the publicity will drive in many new investors.
If it spikes to £4 / £5 on covidity news, I admit I would be tempted to sell some of my stake into that, but not at £1 or £1.50
Crumbs you say “ I wouldn’t be selling all out” maybe not but would you not at least of taken your original stake back?
The thing is if an sp of for argument's sake of £1.50 was hit off the back of Covidity alone then I wouldn't be selling all out myself... that's the thing so much potential from so much tech :) .... anyways getting past 30p would be nice for now lol
and IMO 8 quid is achievable well before 10 years.... but it would require quite a lot of positive data and deal/s done... all possible within the next 2-3 years..... Remember Covidity not only validates ImmunoBody it validates Avidimab...
What are you invested in?
Have you ever had a successful investment?
I bet you have got nowhere in life because you think you are unworthy.
You have never taken risks or dared to dream.
Sad
People invest in early-stage biotech for the big thousands of percent returns - it's a highly speculative investment, and it comes good regularly, especially if you can use a bit of research and common sense to narrow the field a bit.
Not sensible, obviously, too invest your life savings (though if you did and it went up 3000% - wow!).
It is quite most on here have no idea what they are invested in and even less about the pandemic.
The sniffy old guard are a joke having spent 9 years in purgatory they have become blinded to reality.
Moon you wouldn’t even take your original investment out at that price or earlier?
Moon fair comment.
And yes, I for one am not selling at £1 or £1.50.
"Around 3500% it won’t happen"
You forgot IMO :)
And if you are going off the current bid then it is 3636%.
People do not seriously expect to get that kind of return. Imagine if this was say £1.50 would anyone really leave all there holding on the table?
UFO - aka Alien metals did 500% last year
SNG - aka Synairgen did 600% last year
NOVACYT did far far more last year, in fact it’s rise was that big it was nearly incalculable!
SCLP - Massive rise is surely possible. My money split between this and Angle.
Well that’s the rampiest and most pointless post of the day out of the way so back to the facts now :-)
Cleaner the exact figure at the current mid price of .225 is 3555%.
Around 3500% it won’t happen and I like many others would be long gone. My exit price is far lower than that!
compound interest ?
