I agree too, let’s hope there is a deal then, double helping :0)
That makes a lot more sense
It’s a deal
Whoops, sorry about that talking and typing, let me make it even better.
@Dan, I will match your offer and raise it to £112 if it is for the salvation army. So no deal offered by the 24th December market close + 1 hour and I will donate £112 to the salvation army on Christmas eve.
:)
If there is a deal of $20 million+ Before 30th, I will match your bet on the table as when you receive good Karma you need to pass some of it on to folks who not so lucky in life but I got to say I feel Dan/Colin will win this one but tbf I want Dan to lose and then 100 lonely people :o)

£112 could provide a Christmas dinner and the promise of companionship for 50 lonely older people.
Chris
Dan to be clear, I have never said that ref $20 million, I have repeatedly said that I don't think shareholders would accept anything less however. Actually I think $20 million is on the low side in terms of asset value, anyone getting it for around that price is likely to make a killing over the life of the field.
But good for you that's some more money on the table and I hope either one or both Charities benefit this Christmas. My choice is the salvation army please, always good to give a few people a Christmas meal.
Apologies. I missed there are two wagers on the table.
No highland. My offer to Steve is unchanged. It is actually generous compared to what Steve believes might happen (deal signed in the next few days before the q and a according to Steve)
I have made an offer to Chris based on the type of thing he is touting. If discussions are advanced as he suggests then an offer pre new year is very possible. And according to Chris $20 million would be the bare minimum on offer. I think he is talking balls on both counts so happy to put some cash up, especially as there can only be winners when the cash is going to charity.
Thanks Dan, glad I checked as we both know there is no chance in hell of a deal being offered, voted on by shareholders and signed and delivered before the 31st December, so not as generous as some might have thought. An offer between now and then however is a very different proposition.
I notice Christmas has been moved to 31 Dec and a minimum deal value has been introduced. Hmm.
Chris - no that is not the deal I have with Steve.
Steve said - “ Hopefully papers are being drafted and will be signed before the Q and A.”
I said - “ If a deal is signed before Christmas I will buy you a bottle of whiskey.”
I am happy to offer £100 to a charity of your choice for an OFFER before 31st December 2021. However the offer must be for at least £15 million (valuation).
Dan, just wanted to be clear about your generous offer to give £100 to a charity of steve's choice. Is that if an offer is announced on or before the 31st of December 2021?
Chris
Best deal for gneiss Is to sit on their hands and take the retainer cash. They know full well nobody will buy this.
maybe the other BODs don't have the money to buy decent shares
maybe they have it in their wife's name or something. who knows.
but the sale negotiation is ongoing and that's the key
Apart from A Ferguson and Tom Reynolds the rest of the board do not seam to hold any shares. Not a good sign. They are Doug Rycroft ,John Alpine, Muir Miller & Donald Nicolson
Lets hope so Dan, the higher the price they sell at the higher the reward for all.
The fighting Fitzpatrick will get the best deal possible for Gneiss I’m sure.
TRs stake is tiny so you can see why he can’t really seem to be bothered.
As a background to the Q & A session I would like to log the major shareholders,
GP Jersey ltd 8.6%, Fitzpatrick Jon 3.45% Fitzpatrick Alaster Muir 3.21% Spreadex Ltd 1.55% Maccallum James Gibson0.88% Reynolds Thomas 0.32%
I think the above will have a big say on any deal being done
Bless (Ref posts on SCIR 25 Nov 2021 22:24 ) & well done Dan, seems you finally put some money where your mouth is :)
Steve - £100 to a charity of your choice then
As usual some personal abuse from Perkins
There has been a lot of ramping today and not much share price movement!
The market seems to agree with me I’m afraid lads
I think hotels have stopped them due to COVID.
Rip off anyway.
I think they wanted about £3 for a can of coke.
Buy Chris a bottle instead and forget all those arguments you have had with him.
Tis the season to be jolly.
Tra la la.
Don’t really drink myself.
None of those little bottles that you nicked out of the last hotel you stayed in Dan, a proper bottle I trust ;0)
Lol Steve
If a deal is signed before Christmas I will buy you a bottle of whiskey. Think I am quite safe!!
