Very good interview from Gareth enjoyed litening to it, one thing I really like about him is he wants to help people its not all about money and if they can help India that is brilliant.
So would you Sly with coercion & manipulations skills like that lol
Did I hear right, did he say P2F are developing a noninvasive cataract treatment??
First dibs on that! Yes please...
A very good summary PL75. I concur with your impressions, which are similar to my own. Dr. Cave is rather more than the 'dedicated scientist' that I have grown accustomed to in startup companies with an unique product. He is able to communicate effectively about the business aspect of the company in addition to explaining the scientific details at an appropriate level for a 'layperson'. He has set the scene effectively, and I look forward to further information concerning the manufacture and sales of the mask, as well as developments within other aspects of this multi-faceted company.
It would appear that the recent recruitment of two scientists to the company's board of directors could well prove to be a smart move, which will be hugely beneficial to the company's future.
I enjoyed the interview. I think they’re on the right track, without naming names (even though obvious) GC is clearly happy that the company is now moving forward without distractions. They have a machine for prototyping and they have partners that can deliver at scale to a global market. No matter the view on the longevity of masks for Covid in particular, as they’re targeting professional environments, the need for the best possible protection from viruses will not disappear. Alongside this strategy you then have new and exciting projects and P2F will get first dibs. As he described, they were never intending on being a manufacturer, so they can now leave this to those that know best and focus on the future from a confident base. It was an interview that oozed confident strategic thinking. He came across very well. He didn’t give anything away as you’d expect, but I got the impression behind the scenes they’re making good progress. Well done and thanks to Gareth, it was nice to hear directly from him and to hear an open conversation about the story of where they are and where they’re headed.
Just catching up on the interview. So glad I haven't sold out on one of these mini-spikes. I have a – for me – decent holding and much more comfortable to continue into the long term. RMS certainly could multi-bag given time if these applications pan-out, and why wouldn't they..
I'll be honest, i've been critical of how the mask has been marketed as I believe the need for them won't go away.
However I thought GC sounded very confident in the interview... no long thoughtful pauses or ermms... I liked his interview, there were lots of positives and information making me think work is being done behind the scenes.
I don't mind if there is no RNS tomorrow or this week, it's a long term hold with plenty of possibilities and I feel confident enough now to top up if the price does drop, which I wasn't previously.
Yes I agree there is more to RMS than masks but masks and the associated technology in the expansive manner that GC spoke about will be the making of RMS.
I'm feeling better about my investment. That's my opinion for my money but DYOR and good luck with whatever you decide :-)
Good interview.
