200IiqI think this will just go towards paying for the first hour which was honoured without all the savings being delivered. I do hope the business and the CWU do agree a simple formula for demonstrating achievement of the next phases.
Charlie your post "The prognosis for the UK business ain't great. The company is becoming even more lopsided, massive investment in the prepping of mail resulting in hefty productivity gains offset by the outdoor delivery arm where the losses are rising and quickly"
Where is the massive investment in indoor prepping? Where are you seeing the breakdown of the costs/losses on outdoor? If this is available I will apologise as I have missed this report/breakdown. Are you just making your own assumption or is this actually shown somewhere.
200iq you get the sww when on strike..... probably a 3 day week for a while but no pay... does that answer your question?
Productivity up. Do I get my sww?
JB, my post was clear. If you can't see the difference and contrast the performance between the indoor and outdoor units, this share game is not for you.
Ispy some low level traders are happy to make £50 per trade on a regular basis so just an option, so mid to longer term suggests you do see some upward movement in the future. I did read the thread and get the gist I thought when you said some may want to laugh I thought you meant yourself but you mean others but not you thanks for putting me right.
one thing ispy I hope that fund is distributed fairly to all your fellow members..... no not a cat in hells chance.... lets see whos crying come 2020... sure it wont be investors... like I said before rico has your cards well and truly marked my comrade...
@ JBT.
A short term trade for 1500 quid? Really?
I did buy in, as I said, 758 shares.
As for gloating? You really do need to read the whole thread and interpret what I've posted and why.
There are a few on here that continually jump to the wrong conclusion.
And yes, I have lost on investments. But I don't get angry like many on here appear to.
I Spy
ISPY how you work that comment out?
@ wolvesposty.
Thanks for the concern. Rest assured though that the IA fund is coming along very nicely. Courtesy of RMG and it's shareholders.
Now, how many hours do you think that I've been paid for today?
ex-PP. LOL. I don't like to surmise, but thanks for the clarification.
I Spy
Ispy surprised you have bought in as you seem to paint such a bleak picture, are you just in for a short term trade? Or are you going to stay invested to see the plan come to fruition or are you just joking and you haven't really bought in? I am sure you have suffered losses on other shares so appearing to gloat or laugh at others is likely to come back and bite you on the derriere. Hopefully you will make a profit that's all most are here for and doesn't make us greedy shareholders or whatever you have called us in the past.
ispy hope the sp increases soon being you bought all these shares.... you will need to sell a few to fund your strike..... not enough for even one day IA.
I’m a Sir! There’s a clue in my moniker..
Rico painted a bleak picture for 2021/22 - he took the most pessimistic catastrophic position possible - don't know how he could as things can change rapidly!
ispy I have not lost mate.... average of 204... check back and you will see.... had divis so up am I... but a profitable company is a safe company for all.... look only here for the ride as very comfy thanx.... its thr like of you I fear for if we don't get it right... after all its a plc.
I stand by my position that the results for the last 6 months were at the very upper end of my expectations. I stand by that now as I did before market open. To move from £33 million profit in H1 last year to over £100 million this year in a quiet part of the year (an increase of over 200%) and to keep borrowing at less than £200 million (exc. leases) is exceptional given the calamity globally.... fantastic result which is why I added.
@ wolvesposty.
And in one fell swoop you show your true colours. Is it any wonder that when the price drops, in this case significantly, some may actually want to laugh at your financial misfortune?
ex-PostmanPorsche.
Thank you sir, or ma'am.
I Spy
Well done Ispy. We might let you join our gang!
I spy... gloating over the drop in sp.... if it was good news why we having the conversation? and me angry? when I am called a drunken posy in la la land then yes I am angry......tell ya what ispy I wouldn't care one bit if rico broke it all up and sold it off if it meant the likes of the militants have to sign on and beg for a minimum wage job elsewhere..... old man used to say be careful what you wish for
@ wolvesposty.
You're a very very angry person today!
Who's gloating over the news? Since 7am nearly all the posts have been about how good the news is. Gloating over good news? Is that what you meant?
Anyway. I bought in today @ 195p. Only 758 but i'm hoping that it makes me a proper shareholder.
Vote no to a strike!!!!!
I Spy
red... astute as we are i did say I was sitting on 15% paper gain... now its gone but so what...long term outlook is get rid of militants and **** poor employees and we will thrive.... come on boys have a go at me I am waiting...lol
fake you didn't reply because the sp was rising and just hid away.... we can all come back with comments like you on any company so bugger off and gloat elsewhere...
red and co...…never expected such a bad response to figures today.... and the response from the militants was even worse... like said before we will rise and soon without the deadwood..... they all hate royal mail... then why work for us.....i.ll tell you why they got great t&cs and decent job and want paying off via VR. they love themselves...
cannot believe what I am reading on here going back through the posts...employees gloating over this news and fall in the sp....... lets just remember and take a hard look at yourselves also...… company fails and so have you.....
Evening wolves. I was just waiting for you to take over. If you could ever be bothered to check scampthedog STD never made the grade he worked for Anguard before leaving for Amazon.
