Well at least the MM's learned from their last mistake to drop it on opening and we all jumped in to top up :-). WN and this side show.... lots happening.
What no gap up lol. What a surprise.
the new licences would certainly keep Corallian busy ;-)
Whoops forgot the link.

Very broad parameters I know, and always the chance of a cheaper second hand one.
With the low oil price it's a real possibility north sea (offshore) oil projects will be shelved.
It's clear the Big shareholders of Deltic think so or they wouldn't be selling up and crashing It's share price, RBD could offer the big shareholders an option to do something with the cash and a means of exit with RBD being more liquid
Years away and, millions of $ and even then no guarantee of oil. Every danger Deltic's assets costs would drain any short term profit from RBD.
Any-one any idea how much to drill offshore? Or time it would take?
I'd like to put even the idea of it to bed.
RBD fully funded for the exploration of WN via it's stake in Rathlin, but not to commercialise it
Combined group will have £25m available plus a much larger and diversified range of assets to perhaps raise funds from
But RBD don't have those funds either............lol
Why is the market valuing delt at sub cash if their prospects are so great. Clearly more funds needed it would seem
S&S have obviously spoke with major shareholders or they have talked with them. Respect doesn't come into play if the money men decide something is happening then it happens. I don't think if there wasn't a plan in place we would have had an RNS in the first place.
" Under Rule 8.3(a) of the Code, any person who is interested in 1% or more of any class of securities of an offeree company or of any securities exchange offeror ,,,,,, must make an Opening Position Disclosure following the commencement of the offer period...." Seems like it's all down to what the ii's want thismerger to happen. 10 days to declare their positions.
DELT had 13.2m cash at end of March, and deals with Shell to exploit their acreage. RBD have offered them 12.3m and exposure to a bunch of plays that are high risk at best.
DELT should have just put out an RNS saying they're not going to waste any time responding to such a ridiculous offer. How do you offer less than cash and expect to be treated with respect. Really unbelievable.
I think Ant and Dec ought to be vigorously refuting the words about West Newton. Those words from Delt are concerning and bordering on slanderous if not true and thus should be refuted.
I thought it was catty and insipid. I'd want a bullish rebuttal from my BoD.
We'll see.
DELT shareholders disappointed?? Why? This offer is so ridiculous, it only got a response from DELT because they're obliged to.
The "Serious concerns" about WN viability made me lol. There's literally *LITERALLY* 0% chance of this deal going through. Offer 15 RBD shares per DELT share and holders could be interested haha.
It's good to see the statement was short, the board must have spent the rest of last night polishing up their C.V.'s lol
The Board of Deltic Energy has a detailed understanding of a number of Reabold's investments, in particular, the West Newton project, which gives us serious concerns in relation to the technical viability, materiality and limited potential upside associated with various of these projects.
Oh really and how did they come about that conclusion, I don't see how they would have access to the latest information that was used to raise the cash for further development.
I thought it was quite basic to be honest. A little dig about West Newton, but I expect DELT's major shareholders know exactly what's there in order for them to be interested in the first place. I'd be disappointed with this RNS if I was a DELT shareholder.
Yes they seem to have gone on the defensive for sure, one things for sure if S&S pull this one of there will be no parting hand shakes!
lol DELT's slapdown RNS is pretty brutal this morning
I hold both but this offer is ridiculous. Not a hope in hell that RBD are gonna steal DELT by offering worthless paper.
