"Persimmon I see the heavy oil that you were saying is worthless is starting to make us a little money in California? Do you ever have anything positive to say about RBD or are you a glass empty guy on everything in life? JB"
From what I read there isn't even a glass ;-)
joking aside I actually appreciate Persi's comments, stops the old confirmation bias kicking in completely
hope you get your entry then, I am happy either way. Goes up chuffed, goes down and the bargain is just better!
Perm
But you believe in is disseminating in accurate information , to suit your current position.

"No I do not short any stock as I do not believe it."
Just talking it down then to get a lower entry point presumably
Chris, we are both on the same side as we both want to make money. No I do not short any stock as I do not believe it. Like Germany and a fewr countries. I do not as a matter of principle. Some decent companies can and have been taken down by shorter's.
haha I have always liked him, we are rarely on the same side of a position though.
Both.
Of cause he would.
Persimmon as you are always here and we both know that you would not waste your time on a board that you do not intend to invest in or are short on, which is it?
I see you've dodged the subject of Parta and Corallion not contributing to potential future dividends
Fyoz. As far as information is concerned, i am talking about WN , but i think you know that. You should look into the various reasons why WN could be delayed. It will happen, but not for some time IMHO .
With the greatest respect FYOZ the company can issue hundreds of RNS's every month. With may, possibly, might, conceivably, words being used they all amount to very little. What everyone needs is hard figures on how the various parts of the business are performing, and if possible to extrapolate future revenues from these assets. I would sooner have one RNS every two months with it being substantial and meaningful, rather that dozens of superficial ones with very little content of any significance. If you disagree with me o.k I can live with it. G.L all.
I have three term long holdings which I don’t trade, can’t be arsed quite frankly , but like CH when I have the time to trade/day trade I do, what is the problem .? This is one I don’t trade if CH does , so what ?
California will become more important the more wells they bring on, it's not a gusher but that doesn't mean it hasn't got its practicalities.
I agree that we have at least a year until we see this getting the traction that it deserves but do we really want it to garner traction on "fairy dust" It's a hold for me and will be for a long time. The news that we have gotten so far might not be startling but it's far from negative and I think that's what many people are forgetting, we are at the beginning of the middle stage (in my opinion) this company will see a rise when it turns over 10's if not 100's of millions in one fell swoop... Takes years to be an overnight success
Well said Manwell, too many blinkered peeps on here.
"Don't think many people give 2 hoots about California, it's like 80% WN, 20% Parta that investors are interested in."
well they should as its generating revenue and now self funding for future drills. Might not be as big as WN or Parta but its certainly at the stage where the BOD wanted it to be. WN and Parta will get there, it just takes time......
I trade and invest mostly based on price action, I don't have a set period of time like you suggest day, week, month etc and I have taken a bit of stick here.
However, I bought here without selling for not days, weeks or months but years. When S & S started this I bought in, and held all the way. My posting history here shows this. had quit my full-time job to this full-time and was sitting on profit in a difficult market year. I only sold my shares when the profit was having a negative effect on my sleep and I decided to take profits.
The share price continued to go up after I sold and unlike some, I never made one single negative comment about the company and continued to talk to other investors who held the stock on twitter and I was happy for them and the company.
I bought back in because this dip in price has presented an opportunity to ride the reabold journey once more. I don't claim to know as much about the company as some on here and intend to dig around further after Christmas.
In answer to your second question about dividends, I am not expecting or looking for them. I just think this price is good and it is likely to be higher in the future.

I think you actually mean that it's West Newton that 'Traders' are interested in, as they just want a quick multi-bag and away they go to the next candidate. Investors will be looking at the full portfolio of the company including California, Parta, and Corallian, all of which have significant potential for a very good return, Parta being potentially equal to West Newton, and the latest licenses gained by Corallion include huge potential gas reserves.
RBD is a three to five year play, with the potential for some spikes on the way.
Yet the share price continues to fall....because we are making no progress on the major project that the latest fund raise was for, that massively diluted the share price then appears to have stalled. An update here is what people want.
Don't think many people give 2 hoots about California, it's like 80% WN, 20% Parta that investors are interested in.
"have no clue what is going on because we are not being given any information"
2 RNS's already this month
10 RNS's in November
13 RNS's in October
I am not usually a great fan of Persis posts, but i think his latest comments are correct , RBD have not so far produced any thing of note and you can see by the share price the market is not best pleased . No matter what comments are posted on this and the UJO board the fact of the matter is,despite what some posters say,we have no clue what is going on because we are not being given any information. what ever plans they are working on, we need to be told sooner rather than later , this has been going on for long enough.
"unless WN arrives with 'the goods' then this company iwill have great difficulty in providing any dividends for decades (if at all) to share holders"
Yet again you attempt to deramp this share with mis-information. So you are completely disregarding Parta, or assuming it has zero value. Nor our 34.9% stake in Corallion. And there is no evidence to show that WN is not going ahead
Persi exposed again
Chris....you are savvy enough to know that unless WN arrives with 'the goods' then this company iwill have great difficulty in providing any dividends for decades (if at all) to share holders. A handfull of 'nodding donkeys' extracting a few barrels per day each at a net price of around 10-15% in Cali will not cut the ice. Some punters on here with no experience of business think that if oil is 60 dollars a barrel then that is all profit. You know this and I know this. So my questions to you are a) Are you a day trader b) Do you think success at W.N is a 'make or break' for those not day trading?
I stand by the fact that I think it is a great price to build a position in this company. I am sure this is on a lot of retail investors watchlists now and we will see a decent return from entry at this level.
They managed to raise an exceptional amount of cash (24 million) at .90 very recently - so those that took the placing either expect to make a lot more from it over time or intend to flip some shares when the price above 1p. Either way it is a win for those getting in now, at a discount to the professionals.
The directors also took stock at 0.90 and you can buy it today at the bargain price of 0.74 area. It is a bit like buying tenners for fivers.
