Been in these since they were Atlantic when daddy O'Reilly was the "golden boy" of Irish rugby, marketing and business.
Went through the consolidation 6billion to 60m shares.
Remember Singleton sold for $66 million, sold Mexican gas for $22m and O'Reilly deal "Providence Resources has raised $100m with a placing of 13.1 million shares". From that you can work out the price of shares in 2012 which was about $7.67a share. So anybody in before 2012 made a killing.
Then good old O'Reilly squandered the lot on wild ventures but it can all be reclaimed if Barryroe becomes a gusher or if it takes the government to court for loss of profits and revenue.
So made a killing between 2012 and 2015. Bought two houses.
Post 2015 started buying small amounts on price after famous Sequa farago and the shares tanked.
When they went sub 2p started buying much larger numbers.
These shares owe me nothing as I rode the Barryroe tiger from "boy" to "man" and am still here waiting for the next phase - whenever!!
And while I have been on here and on iii as Sobeit for even longer where I won the famous Blinkx competition by picking Providence, Lansdowne, Taylor Wimpey and Barratt Developments. First two, performed ok until they became "dogs", bt the last two property companies flew which made me a lot of money and I still have them along with many other shares.
So I still say, Larry Goodman (and son), Pageant and Furlong are not fools. Why are they still here with big holdings if this is a "dead dog"?
These shares owe me nothing and I still believe they will have their day. Even if you exported all the oil and gas, it is still worth a fortune. Not even Ireland can look a gift horse in the mouth forever and there is nothing legally stopping Providence developing Barryroe other than a gobs***te is impeding it.
But as Milton said, "They also serve who only stand and wait". Patience is a virtue.
Lowest ever closing price was 1.1p on 19/03/2020. Price only ever under 1.5p for seven trading days around that time, and under 2p for a further 15 days up to early April 2020. Fair play to you if you bought all your shares at that time, but you've been posting as Manyana since August 2018 when the SP was 11p, and as Sobeit for a long time before that. An average of "around 1p" sounds pretty impressive and/or impossible unless you have a truly vast number.
Did I say 1p? Please note I said "around 1p".
What price were they on 15th March 2020 and at other times since 2015 what were their lowest price?
Check your facts before you open your mouth.
This never was 1 p. Your average got to be higher
I am still sitting pretty because most of mine were bought when these were around 1p.
I will sell mine when Larry Goodman - Vevan, Pageant and Furlong sell theirs.
Current Holdings:
Pageant Holdings Limited 10.42%
M&G Investment Management Limited 9.94%
Kite Lake Capital Management (UK) LLP 9.75%
Merseyside Pension Fund 8.46%
Vevan Unlimited Company 4.66%
R. O'Riordan and S O'Driscoll 4.12%
Nick Furlong 3.22%
That lot account for over 50% of the equity.
Pvr has no chance in the medium term of realising barryroe potentail due to muppet Ryans incompetence and refusal to act on barryroe development signoff SF will also prove to be just as stubborn and incompetent when they win next general election as their energy policy mirrors the greens
I sold 80% of my pvr holding back in feb and bought Clon hoping to claw back losses made on pvr investment,
I doubt there will be any positive momentum for pvr for quite sometime and small investors might concider trying to claw back some losses made on pvr
As barryroe project dead in the water.
