Evening all,
OilyFred,
Thank you for asking me my opinion,
I don’t like to speculate as invariably it will return to bite you in the nether regions although I have been guilty a couple of times through the sheer irresistibly factor.
Everyone has their own preferences on how this company should move forward, short term, medium and long term returns on their investment.
My preference would be to “not” sell my holding at @ 25p, and move on, I do think the potential to reach £1.46 within the stated timeframe as per RN could be achieved as long as a follows b, follows c etc.
I have stated previously my preferred route would be to forget about a partner at this current level of MC and have a rolling credit facility in place to develop the CNG plant at Guercif.
(Remember the rock sample results, wow)
The biggest danger that we as shareholders face is our “World class discovery” in the Guercif basin to be stolen from under our noses by a very powerful partner with us being powerless to stop it.
My example of this happening right now is Greatland Gold, slightly different circumstances but they needed a super major to develop “Havieron”, a World class gold discovery and look where it’s got them.
They sold another 5% recently for $60 million, peanuts in comparison to how much the mine is worth and are now left with 25% equity of a project which is worth tens of $Billions and a SP of @ 11p
I’m not saying their SP won’t rise, there is the potential to make a decent return once gold is being mined but the full potential of the discovery is now in the hands of Newcrest.
Paul has stated many times about leaving meat on the bones for others, I disagree, we should when the time is right sell them the whole Animal and let them fatten it up.
I think we will have a decent update before the 8th Sept Presentation.
AIMHO of course.

Wacky.
Cash, Geology and potential are King
Cheers Oily. I would imagine it too would have had its ups , downs and uncertainties. The perspective of an investor who has made that journey could give some valuable insight in managing the process for some.
I made a lot on GKP, nothing to do with GRH though….
Please Allow me to explain.
Last night I said the SP wouldn’t be 8p in September because Funding would be sorted, personally I thought I would have been sorted by now……
Different topic tonight, someone said they wouldn’t sell at 25p, I respond with 6p to 25p ……. Bought at 6p in June expect to sell for 25p September…..
There you go
Oily , am I correct in recalling you had a big win on one of GRH’s previous share recommendations ?? If not please ignore.
Oily fred
To answer your questions clearly
A...
Would I prefer that funding had been announced?
Yes...on the basis of normal human desire for certainty
B...
Am I surprised it is not sorted?
Not at all!
Two sub.points
1...
I do not know that it has NOT been agreed
All I do know is that I am unaware of it having been agreed...
IE rather different things
2 ...
I am unsurprised re timing
Not remotely...
As...
if there are other moving parts involved...my conjecture only...
Then we will be beholden to the timetable of others
Personally, I want us to go into the campaign holding the highest field equity we can
Whilst there being as few shares in issue as possible
IE I prefer to hold for maximum value
I was the only poster asking for that pre MOU1 drill and was delighted when PRD decided not to farm at too early stage...
thus,we still hold full 75% field equity of what I consider to be the biggest thing in my own investing career
I may be wrong
But I may be correct...

GRH
When did I say that???
I said 6p to 25p
I bought at 6p late June and I expected 25p by late September
I would take 6p to 25p in 3 months
I’m not here for 25p; would rather wait patiently for ‘optimum funding’ that retains as much field equity as possible.
Selfish, maybe, but honest.
Sure they have a few spinning plates - might be dotting the i’s and crossing the t’s - time will tell I’m sure.
Are you surprised funding isn’t sorted? I don’t really care whether it’s Farm in or Placing but it needs doing and soon.
