£1.45 - well done all.
Amazing rerate, the past week, for a lossmaking firm!
Should be much higher jcookec! £10-£20 a share is only 10-20p old money lol
Out of control!
Lol this time next year we will be millionaires! Roll on £2 tomorrow
Cookie back in then???? LOL.
Day after day there is literally nothing available? This does look good for £2-£3 before the next news
Its seemed the economics for the 300,000oz of reserve beneath the open pit at Cap Oeste is working out under the very bullish gold price trend for 2019 !! MM need your share but hold and buy if you have spare cash. Last placing was 100 today's price paid by chairman , the one before was 195 by chairman and CFO i think !!! Back to 175-200 will be in no time I believe !!
IMO, Gold is the place to be in. China Has a Dangerous Dollar Debt Addiction
With $1.2 trillion needing to be rolled over this year, the threat of a funding crunch is rising.

Agreed mad! Let’s hope we get the good times back and these do move £3 in a day ! Shares held very tight and very small free float! Soon cookie will be back ?
3p (or £3 equiv today) in a SINGLE trading session.
Okay that was many moons ago when they were being confident of having several production properties yielding 200k ozs pa.
Maybe the good days are finally here again after reaching rock bottom........ after what seems like a lifetime of fundraising & share dilutions.
Certainly hope that the fortunes for the loyal long-term holders are to be rewarded for their patience.
Something certainly seems to be happening now
With Gold Price raise so rapid, the 300,000oz at depth below openpit of Cap Oeste, along with new zero cost mines nearby , will make all sense for a cleaver excavation scheme for the maximum profit, Same like Real estate, to make the company bigger, you need large "good land reserve " . The CEO was also a executive director of the major HK listed Real Estate Co called "SEA Group, http://www.seagroup.com.hk", very smart people. Let along the Chairman's deep pocket and business astuteness, hugely promising . Most of share is held by he billionaire Chairman and family. Timing is everything !!! BUY!
Now 73 on the bid, they need shares!
Of 74! This is now starting to look very good
This must move soon
I genuinely take my hat off to Miguens. If it wasn't for him (& his family) and his deep pocket this Company would surely have folded many years ago.
He has every incentive to oversee this being a major recovery play.
Sometimes the past is everything. It's as good a yardstick as any to judge performance either individually or collectively. 15 years worth with PGD provides loads of material.
The share consolidation is a complete red herring and the reason published by the Company for doing it - is entirely valid. End of.
There was a time that the Concert Party owned only 45 million shares yet it still represented over 25% of the Company.
There was a time long ago PGD was doing an acquisition deal with Barrick not too dissimilar to recent deal with Goldcorp. PGD has been a gold producer for past 5 years now. The sp has tanked in that time.
Not being negative. Just being even handed looking at the pros & cons.
That happens on the stock markets. Consolidation of shares has happened to me over the years & yes I have looked at this company back in the day. It had over a billion shares at that time. I don't touch small to medium company's that have more than 350 million share in issue. I have lost cash in past & take responsibility for my investing,no one forces me to invest, just feel bad for that day,go to sleep and get up next morning to start again. The past is the past. Today, PGD seem to be building the company from a good place.Consolidating their exploration ground with recent land acquisitions from Gold Corp & Producing gold. I only invested small amount to start with but will watch and maybe add in future.
What's NOT to like about PGD:-
It's certainly imho currently a good entry point as it seems to be on the floor....... with loads of potential. Mind you, it's never seemingly been short of potential in 15 years of trading on AIM.
If you invested when it launched on AIM you'd be today sitting on a paper loss of circa 95%.
If you invested when directors were buying on the open market at 36p (pre consolidation) and issuing Options at 50p you'd be sitting on 99% loss today. That's what's not to like!!!!!
But I'm sure Stewy will agree with you that the 100:1 share consolidation was a corporate master stroke.
what's not to like about PGD. Good move doing its share consolidation = very small amount of shares "23.63 million" in issue. 11-12-2018 Sold COSE Royalty to Metalla for total consideration of US$1.5 million cash.28-12-2018 PGD has agreed to acquired four additional exploration property blocks located in the Province of Santa Cruz, Argentina, from Goldcorp Inc. 10-10-2018 Production at Cap Oeste for Q3 2018 totalled 12,160 oz AuEq at an average cash cost of US$360oz (Q2 2018: US$551/oz Au Eq) and US$396oz (Q2 2018: US$597/oz AuEq) including depreciation and amortisation. Accumulated production for the six months to 30 September 2018 was 35,229 oz AuEq, at an average cost of US$502/oz AuEq and US$547/oz AuEq including depreciation and amortisation. The continued devaluation of the Argentine Peso during the third quarter had a positive impact on the cash costs, which resulted in cash costs for September 2018 of US$469/oz AuEq and US$511/oz AuEq including depreciation and amortisation. The Company remains on track to meet its production guidance for the year of 45,000 oz AuEq.
Calcatreu
In relation to Calcatreu, the necessary permits to commence drilling were granted at the end of September 2018. The drilling contractor is in the process of building the camp and mobilising the drill rig. The 7,000 metre drilling programme has started on 9 October 2018.
yesterday MMs simply trying to stimulate some buying interest with the numerous tiny individual rises in sp.
Didn't seem to have much affect. Now trying to lessen the spread to promote some interest. Still spread at 8% so not likely.
Almost 3 months since drilling started at Calcatreu........ surely an update any day now??
Will do tomorrow please
Not many shares to go around here, just mopped up the last sell order
Just 2500 shares! Just no one out there haha,? Mad you going to top up ffs
