one way to clear this sell , the more buyers the better ,
has been good today ,to see this seller with less shares
and hoping more buyers ,then even less shares for seller or sellers
Another catalyst, brilliant!
If the news flow continues at this pace...well, if there ever was a case for a bullish stock, we're in it.
Every time we get news, the SP spikes up in the morning only to settle back down but finishing higher than the previous day's close. CF mentioned a gradual rise (as opposed to a 25% spike only to settle back down) is more preferable.....whichever way this gradual rise is being orchestrated (and to whomever the sold shares are being transferred) is fine by me, assuming the news flow continues at this rate over the coming weeks and months.
I only hope CF really does manage to sell Imutex for market price or list it on Nasdaq within the indicated timeline and not delay (or surprise us with a 'depressed' price). That will be key as well. GLA!
Yes Andrew - by Friday 13F declaration to the SEC. Only downside of course is that it only covered period up to end of June but we will be able to gauge a) if it was them b) what they did with their position until that date. All good intel thou.
Yes, I believe someone mentioned (think it was deepjoy) that they have to report on the 15th about their holdings? So we should expect them to either be out or notify of their holding on that date or very soon after?
The more good news = more volume = more shares sold by seller = seller out quicker. :)
plenty of good news needed and then hopefully ,see these sellers cleared out of way
Andrew, yes, New York hedge fund Starboard Value.
AndrewBain , yes the more good news needed ,then hopefully this seller be cleared ,
My hope has always been that the more news we get, the more volume we will get, which means the seller will sell more quicker, meaning they are out quicker! That’s the hope anyway! ??
Thank you Andrew as was just going to rant about that. You saved me the bother. Large sellers need volume and there hasn't been anywhere near enough. The rule of thumb is usually 10% can be sold into volume per day and we have been nowhere near the required level to make any form of predictions. Bottom line here is that as an investor you are either obsessed with short term SP movements (trading) or you think value will catch up eventually..
I don’t think they have any left, I think it’s someone else selling the other 25m that Acacia offloaded..
As some on here have said before, there must be a second seller. Acacia were supposedly 90% out and only a few days away from being completely out (as you rightfully said) when Cathal spoke at the start of July.. however we’ve continued to see 600-800k being sold on average daily in chunks. I believe if you combine the 13m and the 25m being sold, based on the daily average chunk sales of 50 & 100k. We’d be looking at an average of 700k?.. it is hard to put an exact figure on it, it’s just calculations based on what I have available to me, but I’d personally say it must be around that figure. On that basis.. end of August is when we would see the seller out. However, over 1m was sold on Friday in chunks of 50 & 100k at what has come to be the usual times of the day that the seller always sell’s at. Hopefully they will be completely out soon and we can see a nice re-rate rise to nearer broker targets of mid 20’s, I think there’s nothing stopping this with volume and news going towards 30p in the short to medium term.
gige ,thanks for post , has any one, any idea ,how many shares Acica might still be holding
Just a seller i think ....Acacia ??
are some of sellers shorters , or people who happy to sell , seen the rns ,and thought worth a punt , have not researched this share enough
Acacia or whoever still dumping? Larger round sum blocks keep popping up.
only for these sellers ,with todays news had hoped for a good rise ,
why sell some already after news , had been hoping for more of a move up
