"I'm thinking this will be my final AIM share.."J
Jeeze, how many times have we all said that, Bronx. :)
We all know it's naughty... but it can be nice.
Especially at times like this.
... everything, but temptation. ;)
My Semiconductor stocks are back to where they were in February and I'm barely breakeven here..Took profit there today maybe this is the one I should be selling..
I'm thinking this will be my final AIM share..
A lot of water is flowing under the bridge on a daily basis. Hopefully any downturn in Venn business will be covered by an upturn in hVivo. The flu-v has GOT to be in play. IMO
Go and listen to the interview. I found it useful.
Of course, there is the opposite outcome.
Contract wins do not come as expected and therefore a compelling research note cannot be outlined. Publication of final results are held back as long as possible but when issued - without a compelling counterweight - the price collapses.
So, sooner the results are released projects a signal that we're doing OK. Longer he holds back tells me they're not on track.
That's my assessment anyway.
That would make sense Andino... here is hoping :)
Personally, i'm expecting contract news, fnal results, followed by research note.
OK. You NEED to. Sorry, i assumed everyone heard it.
Cathal is asked about why there isn't a research note.
Cathal says:
I've held up the research note on purpose. He then mentions the final results [which are yet to be published] which he says are '****e' [his words. not mine]
There's no surprise about the figures but i'm expecting hvivo figures to be very bad, explaining why they had to sell.
Cathal's plan is thus - as he explains - to release a research note after publication final results.
He explains that profitability would be realised before Q2 end - June 30. He would seek to release First Half results late July.
So, final results will weigh on share price when released unless counterweighted by solid contracts and news. Cathal will want the research note to follow soon after final results.
Question is, will we see those final results released before mid-April?
Does he have new contract wins to be announced at same time?
Has new contract wins been affected by lockdowns?
There are many other questions, but you can see where i'm going with this.
Markets rocking, orph trading like its a basket case. Yesterday’s gains gone and struggling to hold 6p.
Hence why i said FAUX rally ..... and if i sound like a day trader to you after being here for months then you really need to wise up to the need for actual investors to keep a very close eye on penny stocks. That is what I do watch and if the story changes or the risk profile does them I reassess. simple really
It's a free podcast so worth a listen yourself spencer

deepjoy, you sound more like a day trader than someone invested in one of the few companies in the current environment with a sustainable future. Tom's comment today sums up the madness of the bearmarket bounce that is going on at the moment, go invest in one of them instead if you're feeling lucky.
"Shares in utterly bankrupt and worthless Intu (INTU) are up by 10% today. It is one of those days when folks just assume the best in everything. The worst recession since the 1930s, sod all earnings visibility, looming mass unemployment? Who cares? Just Fill Yer Boots! In that vein, shares in Cineworld (CINE) are up by 44% at 57p despite a dismal Covid update telling us nothing we need to know at all. Other than that the board are greedy bastards and you & I are subsidising that greed!"
Andinio - I hadn't realised he'd done an interview with Tom Win' a few weeks ago. Did he say anything that really caught your attention?
King5hott - Proactive webcast is next Thursday at 19.00pm.
No I didn't manage tbh.... I listened to him speak alot and read as much as I could. I am currently re-assessing th risk reward here... might have to downscale a little soon to manage the situation. Pray for news aint a good investment strategy I find...GLA
Deepjoy, did you listen to his interview with Tom Win' a few weeks ago?
Andino... Very much a binary play then and i think that is how the market is now treating it.... Every rise sold off is another knock to investor confidence. I include my own resolve in that statement given the wider market faux rally......
Personally i didnt buy the 'we're too busy' excuse for postponing presentation. I think it was because of this very reason. Cathal had nothing to base the presentation on. He's smart enough to know that repeated messaging without tangibles becomes counterproductive. Hence im expecting news beforehand.
Whens the presentation guys?
There is only so many podcasts and presentations and gob****e you can speel off....this should be in double figures ....it aint.
imho
I'm expecting RNS release sometime before presentation.
If Cathal thinks that turning up for yet another presentation without official news beforehand is going to cut the mustard he's mistaken.
The presentation should in support of news. If it isnt then i dont see the point.
