From what's been gleaned at this very early stage of proceedings the ultimate commercial success of Cambay is likely to come from multiple moderately producing wells
No Rolling, I haven't taken the plunge yet. If I do, I see no reason to be coy about it.
My opinion hasn't really changed. It's possible but not certain (what is) that if everthing goes right that Oilex could do well from here. So much depends on the structure of the jv and how much Oilex get for say 45%. Then there is the real biggy, the drilling results, maybe late this year.
I certainly believe talk of billions to be absurd. Not sure if people really believe that or it's just hype. Anyway, all part of the game, I guess.
So, I am still vacillating. If I leave it too late, so be it, but I still wish all other investors good fortune.

Your mood music lately has certainly taken a turn to the positive and I'd wager you've held your nose and taken a second plunge, whether you choose to admit it or not.
Accepted, it's entirely your own business, just an observation.
Zag let me tell you amigo - it is not easy to day trade on this, unless your broker is **** hot. Your buy is always higher (meeting BID) and your sell is always lower. So while a 5 or 6 or 10% swing might look a lot in a day. In something like this, it really isn't - very difficult for a PI to play games over the MMs. Which I why IMHO, if you get a good price with something like this - sit back, enjoy it and let the upcoming news take care of the rest. 70p once upon a time?... wow - imagine if we get anywhere near that in time!! we can but dream. Solid day today, seems to be some resistance around t .27-.28 ...one day closer to news though, lots of potentail her ... we'll definitley pop nice that positive RNS lands, Good luck all long term holders
Has this always been a dream for day traders as that all it seems to be.
Jasper. Oilex have been listed on lse since 2006 and earlier on asx. In 2007 on lse they reached 70p. Yes, not 0.7p or 7p but 70p. Only a 250 bag to get back there. Lol. Atb.
Trades being disguised today and recorded late. Buys not showing up either. MM games again.
Mistry buyer seems pretty active
Another 3.5 million tucked away
Gas prices soaring bides well
To add to the below - i've just found on Halifax I can buy another bunch at 0.273 for 2.6k so I swiped them. i'll be clear, that isn't a boast it's making the point that I'm surprised I'm able to get these at that price with a GOI / JV news so close when we also consider the low market cap. It's a bloody gem this. ATB.
That is interesting. Arguably the strongest position we've been in? I guess you Stalwarts would better debate that point. Either way, we're in a very positive position Jasper and I certainly won't be giving my shares away anytime soon.
Just been looking at some previous years market capital data on Oilex, makes for some interesting analysis. Back in March 2014 (yes they've been around this long), they had 677,906,039 shares in issue and the share price peaked in March at 0.0462p. That gave a market capital of £31.3m. For those long serving investors I don't need to dwell on the past 7 years, but suffice to say I believe we are in a far better place today with the impending completion of 100% interest in Cambay, and that £31.3m valuation seems a tad on the light side. I agree with previous posters a share price of 0.01p giving a market capital of £50m on todays shares issues, is not beyond any realms of possibility on a good JV deal and funding announcement. I continue to hold and have added further yesterday.
