Faz i agree it could have been better worded i said that earlier, but there's certainly no bad news.
@Grover and Merchant banker
I definitely agree with what you are saying however, I think the CEO should have done a better job at explaining it in the RNS. It’s been very poorly worded and the bluntness has scared off investors.
However, the real take away from this is that he would not have gone onto sky news if we were not close to rolling this out and that gives me a lot of confidence that this will be a game changer compared to lab testing. Hold tight and watch this rise once design freeze has been formally announced.
Apologies for the typo's. Speed tying to keep up with the thread!!
Its going mental
RE-POSTING MERCHANTS POST - lower case below
PLS FOR THOSE SHOUTING CONSPIRACY THEORIES YOU ARE TOTALLY OFF THE MARK. - WATCH THE INTERVIEW AGAIN. CEO HAS DONE THE RIGHT THING HERE TO CLARIFY WHOS DOING WHAT. AS I MENTIOEND BEFORE THEY'RE MERELY GOING TO FARM OUT SOME OF THE MANUFACTURING TO OTHER RELIABLE COMPANIES UNDER LICESNE IM SURE. MAKING 50 MILLION A YEAR WOULD PUSH ANY PRODUCTION LINE. ALL HAVE TO BE QUALITY CHECKED AS WELL YOU KNOW.
Just listened again, CK doesn't mention any numbers of tests.The reporter mentioned 50m when talking about Omega working with the consortium.
This speeding ticket might have been necessary but had it been slightly better worded would have had a different reaction.
They could have just referred you back to RTC mou and could have taken the opportunity to talk about the new production facility.
Dont forget this company were so under the radar only 3 months ago, never expected and not used to having the world watching.
Newboy- that RNS was solely to help the markets get control. Odx board of directors helping the markets out.
He could/should of made it clear in interview that
ODX will only manufacture a % of the tests
@More
I agree but as CEO of a public traded company you should know better. You are a (£+_+_& CEO, not a shop manager , with all the due respect to shop managers
Amen Merchant, it is sky news that talks about the 50m tests and adds ambiguity to it, Collin didn't talk at all about the 50m tests. Sky news at fault here.
I agree entirely how can you have to correct yourself this way. And with many investors money involved.
The RNS was worded to kill the rise, certainly did that!

A shocker from CEO, one of the most poorly judged behaviour from a CEO I’ve ever witnessed. Issuing a speeding on his own interview. CRAZY state of affairs.
All a bit fishy imo
Al you heard earlier was £1-2 and £5-7. You know to sell when that starts. In at 77 out at 87. But still anger by this as I nearly held for the rest of the week.
Poor Mr King, bless him. Some Investor Relations training needed I think.
I don't even understand why he on Sky News if they had nothing to move forward with. This has been badly advised by Walbrook PR and even more poorly executed.
I just don't get it. Insane, that's how inexperience the CEO is he is out of his league.
He could have used all the words of this world to adjust the pitch but that was the best he could come up with. Just noot good enough.
Yes, and the danger is that whatever he releases as news next may well be deemed unreliable by those looking to invest in his business.
Definite holder here though, far too much news for it all to be incorrect.
I actually feel sorry for the CEO...I think he was out of his depth and didn't realise.
Long term holders won't care....day traders might
That was an absolute shister trick to play very naughty, CEO damaged his and company reputation there imop
