In the same boat. Panicked sold bought. Only new to this game. Keep with the stock all will be good in end
You will see from any of my previous posts I was pretty bruised yesterday, didnt think the CEO interview was great, but reviewed that under the lens of a drop when the RNS came out - not very objective. I am vastly inexperienced to most of the investors on this board. Yes, I panicked and sold at 72p in the drop, it was the lethargy of seeing other covid stocks rise and this slowly slide down each day. Made a small profit (only had a £1000 in at 58p) but smarted about it all night as could not work out how i felt. I invested here first before any other share as the attractiveness was the manufacturing capability and RTC with Mologic being a cherry on the top.
After a good nights sleep I had a word with myself and decided that I should just remember why I invested in the first place and to stop being jittery and the RNS actually confirmed things are coming.
So I woke up, sold up some of my Avacta and put the money i got out and a bit more back in so now have more shares than yesterday and got in at 71p this morning .... there are a lot of new investors and I am one - ironically i now have more shares than yesterday (and less in Avacta).
My morale is to stop refreshing google on my shares every five minutes and let the companies do there work. I spent a month looking at omega, avacta and open orphan and i spent 5 minutes panicking and selling up, i need to get a grip of myself. i know a month is not a long time but i did use the boards and probably didnt go as deep as most, but i decided to enter the fray. I have read as many reasons to invest in shares on these boards as I have to sell them - they are a nightmare at times and you can convince yourself either way.
Once this test is available it is the public, international sales and supply through the government to hospitals and GPs etc... so there can be a quick test to check people for antibodies in surgeries etc.... I can see it being huge and the interview all but confirmed they are there. Yes an RNS will confirm it but I saw the reaction yesterday when people saw the interview and inferred it was as good as the RNS. Imagine when it does drop.
I am getting back in my box and holding now, the lockdown has created an opportunity to look at shares and dealing but it isnt for the faint hearted!
My only advice is stay calm ... these do seem to be roller coasters.
