I do concur that the hold up for DHSC is the decision making process from the results obtained from the porton down test process. This has been going on a long while now and a decision should be out soon.
I’m not aware the chines products go through the same rigid process as the u.k companies go through. However nothing wrong with getting the beat out for the benefit of our nation but time is of the essence now.
The main reason I mentioned ODX going into collaboration with NCYT was they do have history which is good. They do have excellent R @ D but when demand prevails it might be needed. A takeover is out of the question due to the cost due to market capital of ODX but a partnership I would not rule out in these uncertain times to impact the markets and to a degree get the country moving in a positive direction.
We ard not a 1 trick pony...now we have ouf own Antigen test as well as Food Doctor and Aids products which ard now scalable and very profitable.
Frustrating lack of news on this front, however it will come....
and therein lies the the issue, when the orders will be received, its been delayed far longer than most expected.
this board has been speculating about orders, amongst other things ;) , since january.
and as we have all accepted , its not ODX that is causing the delay, its the government.
we've all said it cant be long now, but we are all hostage to the government (as always)
There is an outside chance NCYT could buy ODX...I hope not as the value is well in excess of their funds, however they could offer a share swap and cash which may be lucrative.
Its very possible ODX could make their antigen test however tt could take a while. NCYT have other options including Abingdon and Surescreen.
The value in ODX has to come out soon...appreciate that I have been saying that for a while. Our patience will be rewarded....£1.60 is a shoe in when orders start to flow out the door...
GL all
You would imagine they would be relatively instant. Let's hope so.
@pinksunshine, thanks for that, just need orders now for visitec.
Have any tech transfers come to completion up to now?
I hope not as that would mean another technical transfer
Any thoughts on ODX producing antigen or antibody tests for Novacyt in the near future?
