This all started from one person being infected, the Delta variant which is now present in China is more contagious so more testing to keep it from spreading further
the official numbers out of china seem really low 300, to start a mass testing campaign for 11M. But on the upside, maybe they'll use british tests :)
But then you have half of Oz in lockdown for relatively handful of confirmed case compare to the UK.
I only know TWatcher on this BB but I feel the poster contributes to the BB when fact checking and that’s good for all investors - nothing wrong with someone questioning posts and opening a debate
I don’t always agree fully with all their comments but unless riled they are not personal
Wuhan in lockdown again with 11M getting daily testing

Covid 19 still causing issues in countries who thought they had it under control
Someone doesn't like being found out :)
Don't you dare comment on any BB Twatcher.
Every BB has your card marked my friend.
agree wpa5
just a little word association on my part.
sadly this is all we have to talk about on this board at present.
we would much rather be discussing orders that begin to eat into the £374m contract , sadly, as has been the caser for several months, we still have radio silence .
August could /should /maybe the month for orders !!!
Bline59, I take it you didn't read the article, but commented anyway ?
"Operational names are auto-generated by computer and can be changed if deemed to be inappropriate.”
A disrespectful computer ?
No disrespect .. just a light hearted (and true) story ... given that operational codenames are automatically electronically generated and to their credit PS recognised the potential embarrassment. Surprised nevertheless there is anyone old enough at PS to remember Billy, the fictional schoolboy of comic fame in the '70's.
whereas if there was ever an operation mounted for protection for Jock first minister...
it would be codenamed "Operation Munter"
The position should be respected regardless.
You do not disrespect the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, who NS will be begging for UK contracts in all sorts of areas to maintain the fantasy politics of the SNP with a name like that.
PM position of course should be respected. The man deserves very little imo.
Very disrespectful to the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom.
Oh dear ...
... "It came as it was reported yesterday Police Scotland had to abandon a proposed codename for its mission to protect Boris Johnson during his next visit north of the border, amid fears it would offend him.
Sources inside the force told The Sun that the mission was initially entitled ‘Operation Bunter’

I was hoping someone here would be in the know or be out with the long zoom
I understand Boris is visiting Scotland on Monday. While Sturgeon is probably getting a visit, does anyone know if a trip to Alva is on the cards?
