Your point “about a buyout at these low levels is interesting; this would currently depend on the value attributed to P2F’s intellectual property, as the company has little else to bring to the table at this point in time.”
One thing I think we can all agree on is that we don’t have to worry about the value of what we have in intellectual property. The issue we have is we don’t have a strong enough company to make it happen. I believe DR Cave is been stubborn and doesn’t want a JV or sell as it’s his baby, Cannot blame him on that however he needs to realise other companies won’t be far away from doing something similar or better , I cannot believe no one has approached them over the last year.
Well time will tell and thank you for wishing me well in my investments , I shall continue to watch and see what happened
Thank you Widglide. I agree with your comment about the definition of a strategy. Yesterday’s RNS does not qualify as such; it is more an outline of current low level internal structural changes, embellished by an outline of the company’s proposed future developments.
Like you, I believe that an additional capital raise through a placement, with the accompanying share price dilution, may be necessary to fund future plans. Your point about a buyout at these low levels is interesting; this would currently depend on the value attributed to P2F’s intellectual property, as the company has little else to bring to the table at this point in time.
We can but speculate about future possibilities, and investors need considerably more information in order to properly assess this company’s future.
I intend to remain on this journey, at least until my stake is returned, hopefully with some added profit to justify my involvement.
I wish you well with your NNN investment and with your investments elsewhere.
TLwillams , I kind of see your point but how do you get strategy out of yesterday’s RNS ? It’s completely different. Strategy provides a detailed analysis of what is going to be done and how they will achieve this and how much will it cost. Yesterday’s RNS was only sent due to the unexpected rise the previous days. With the threat of FCA complaints they had to send something.
I hope you are correct however like many on here and for future investors it’s going to be hard to trust them again. That’s going to be the issue for the bod as they need investors to be able to follow through with there future plans. As it stands now they have lost all trust with the market , they only have 4 million or less now which leaves them very little way of movement before they need to pass resolutions past the share holders to get more money. Argument will beat this point will be “ what’s happened to the 4 million “ they have a huge struggle and one where only a buy out or JV can really save them now
Thank you for your detailed response to my comments earlier today. That particular comment was part of a thread which has since been removed.
I understand your measured frustration with the way the company has conducted its business this year. The previous Chairman/interim CEO was out of his depth . This is confirmed by the previous string of underwhelming RNS messages.
Yesterday’s RNS was different. I disagree (bearing in mind my own work experience) that he could have issued the statement with any conviction at the beginning of his tenure. Three months on, Mr. Duffin has had sufficient time to properly assess the situation, and has put some structural changes in place, prior to providing the market with an outline strategy.
bonga’s informed and thoughtful comment earlier today is realistic in terms of describing the company’s strengths. It is going to take time to target the appropriate markets, bring production capabilities up to an appropriate scale after establishing the potential demand, and subsequently win contracts in competition with others with “influential” contacts to assist in their business.
There is a long road ahead. The company is not the “press and play” enterprises envisioned by some commentators on bulletin boards.
I am currently invested in a company that could ultimately prove to be one of my most successful ventures. It has been a long hard 15 month slog with rollercoaster ups and downs. It is nearing a critical make or break point. It is not over the line yet, but could well be within a relatively short period of time. Similarly, I am expecting a similar long term venture with Nanosynth. I am far from certain about future success, although like bonga, I believe that the company could well form part of a growing industry in nano engineered products.
I also believe that future statements from Mr. Duffin will be more enlightening than was the case yesterday. He has drawn a firm line under the previous administration’s underwhelming actions, and investors may well have a growing and developing company in their portfolios this time next year. I remain guardedly optimistic about Nanosynth’s future; more detailed information is however needed at this point in time.
Regards, and good wishes.
