I jumped back in BP at 192p, too much temptation at that price and they are still paying a dividend! I can’t see much variation with BP, during lockdown they hit 370p and Crude was $30 ppb. I think the shock in all shares will be instant and investors will see it as the last chance to bag cheap shares before the vaccine. It isn’t going to be Armageddon on Monday morning.
Lockdown here people. Hope none of you are long. Disaster awaits. Tick Tock Monday 8am
I could see IAG going way below the 80p. couldn't believe it stayed in the 90s as i thought the results were really poor!
i gave up on the IAG bb. Descended into chaos over there. LOL
Teddy, long time, i bought a chunk of BP last week. Do you think they'll be OK then ? i thought you'd given up on BP now?
Paddyboy: I believe 50% of this is priced in with France and Germany going into lockdown last week, It hasn’t really surprised me, although I thought it would have been more of a 2 week circuit breaker. I can’t see much of an issue with Nex, I would be surprised if it dropped more than 6 or 7%. I hold a bit of GOG so I might take a bit more pain there. I am hoping my BP stock is not affected, I might be turning some of that into IAG stock if that drops to 80p. Great time to be in cash make no mistake.
Triumph, problem is things are going belly up in US, Spain etc as well. It's main revenue sources. Mind i think this will hold up reasonably, 10% dip perhaps!
Flipped all pub groups, banks and housebuilders and replaced with us tech, gold and increased boohoo and azn holding; pretty much anything overly exposed to UK domestic market got binned. Remained here though because we really shouldnt be affected too much at all by this as a small percentage of income is derived from UK. No doubt it will be off a bit though so mabye a chance to earn a few more shares.
Monday is going to wild, that's for sure. GL all
