Please what happens here ? I have some in my account I know they are suspended ,but have they gone??
As it stands now, they will be removed at some point by your broker and you will be issued with a single piece of paper identifying you as holding 138k of the 4.75bn shares in issue. You need to do nothing until the company flicks the switch and your broker implements the process. In fact waiting for this to happen is all you can do. Nothing is planned to be done until the company leaves Jersey for the British Virgin Islands.
Hi can anyone help please , I hold 138,000 old NEW WORLD OIL SHARES, in my Barclays Smart Investor account ,do I have to do anything or will I get automatically replace with Eridge Capital shares ?
Pre AGM Q&A now distributed by email to registered shareholders. Can't share as its Private and Confidential.
Thanks isas.
They are valid, until you get your new Eridge Capital ones when they are issued- I think
I know this is probably a dumb ass question, but are any NWOG share certificates now worthless?
Thanks for the response- any further elaboration as to what this means would be appreciated from those attending.
Resolutions put to the meeting were passed by 75% for to 25% against (50% required to pass) except the accounts and auditors which passed on 100% of votes cast. No plans were presented except that the migration to BVI continues and the Guernsey Gazette Notice was a mistake of the Gazetteers not the company or its advisers.
Any one there can update?
For an update on the Guernsey issue go to the nwog action website.
http://gazette.jerseyeveningpost.com/ It was a printing error and a correction will be published at some point.
Eridge have announced that the company will shortly be applying to move Guernsey. Look Eridge up here. hTTp://gazette.jerseyeveningpost.com/ If this is true then shareholders should be told why, having voted to go to the BVI last year because it has less "all" encompassing regulation than Jersey, creditors are the first to be told that the board is now planning a move to an equally, not less, well regulated jurisdiction just a few miles away.
Eridge Capital (formerly known as New World Oil & Gas) 2016 Accounts & AGM Notice out in post. AGM to be held 11am 05 February at Jeffreys Henry. RNS due for Monday & will update the website as soon as we can with the documents. Update to shareholder mailing list to come #NEW
Didn't read your previous email... thank you for the info, will email them now.
not necessarily....you would be issued new shares in the new company......did you email your details to the address I gave below?
I have just logged into my account, and I have noticed this is reported... Name Change and Re-domiciliation Old name: New World Oil and Gas Plc New name: Eridge Capital Limited Effective date: 28th September 2017 Please be informed that New World Oil and Gas Plc has changed its name to Eridge Capital Limited, effective from 28th September 2017. The board is proposing that the company operates as an investment company to both make returns from investments and to identify opportunities that may ultimately lead to a relisting of the company. Approval was also sought for the company to be re-domiciled to the British Virgin Islands as it was deemed more appropriate for the Company at present. Does this mean that if there was to be a new listing, on AIM, any existing shares would still be active? - They are still on my account, I haven't disposed of them (yet they state -100%)? Would appreciate any updates anyone has on this. Thank you.
Ben has responded to me with the following: Hi * Apologies for my late reply. I was away with family last week. Eridge Capital (as New World is now known) will be issuing share certificates to shareholders, once the company has completed its move to the BVI. In your case the share certificate will be issued to Halifax as the nominee holder. Halifax will then need to arrange for your shares to be certificated in your name. That process should be straightforward. If you would like to join the shareholder mailing list please email a copy of your holding and proof of ID to shareholders@eridgecapital.co.uk
