Great Alex thanks.
Hi Lofas.
As much as I’d love Melody to crack the top 5, they’re up against some pretty big names.. But let’s see!
I’ve been really impressed by the sheer scale of recordings for this event. They’ve been hard at it. After this event, I’m very confident bigger names will materialise, starting with MGK.
Over and out! I’m done here now and will see you all Monday morning! Again, enjoy what Melody bring, I will be!
All the best.
Alex,
I think the top guns are being scheduled for the 4th of July. From 7 now we have a good chance to be in the top 3.
D-day for me is how the 4th of July unfolds.
Happy Birthday to the US and to everyone who celebrates on the Day.
Completely agree Hobbit.
All eyes on MelodyVR this weekend. Livenation will also know this and it would come of no surprise if LN seek to broker a deal with MVR in at least a short term capacity.
This tech is proving that any concert, anywhere in the world can be accessed by anyone, anywhere and at anytime.
With artist revenue at an all time low this year in terms of touring, shortfall will have to be made up and this is a very viable and practical solution.
Advantage Melody. The second half of this will prove to be very interesting.
Bonker99 for me it’s all about the numbers / artists / getting out there. The tech was proven last year at Wireless where they did a blinder, the setup with the team was top class. It’s all about publicity and getting out there. Perfect timing with probably every music festival producer hopefully checking in. Slowly creeping up on YouTube to 1.6K...
This weekend is all about the tech, not the artists or production values.
As ever, if you want big numbers then you need big artists - NOBODY can gig this year so let's see who else pops up on MVR in H2 ........
MG...
I’m sure you will be very happy with the return MVR brings you medium to long term.
Just take a look at the tech. There’s many here trying to pick holes in what is a very impressive performance. Ignore. Focus on:
Patented Tech
Licenses
Ability to record and Edit well over 50 artists, multiple locations in little over 1 month. Amazing achievement..
Future LA Gigs. Machine Gun Kelly up next.
Past Numbers. JOJO for example. Her you tube page alone which had the Melody gig headlining on her page had over 250k views over last weekend.
Other points... Could keep going!
Enjoy the weekend!!!!!!
very much agree with that MG85.
Mg
i have raised my glass to that .
A friend of mine works at the London Marathon. Many companies and overseas territories ask the London Marathon team to organise their events BECAUSE THEY ARE SO GOOD AT IT. Look up Ineos 1:59, this was organised by the London Marathon staff.
For me MVR is very similar to the above. They will showcase what they can do and festival organisers will come knocking. I feel nervous because I’m heavily invested. However, I have every confidence the World will adapt to this alternative way of consuming music. Covid 19 is going to act as a catalyst for this technology. We're one A list musician away from this company being valued at £500m (minimum) - obviously this is my opinion. GLA
