It's the B2C wink IMO ...
Bonker , nice read...like the name assessment.
AP
Bonker gave a very generalised honest assessment , he can see whats going on , i am very interested in this very knowledgeable poters views .
@lf - As you may have gathered, I have some "interest" in the entertainment industry so as soon as my local theatres started cancelling my pre-booked tickets for the Summer and extended my memberships for another six months for free etc my mind turned towards what could happen next and rekindled my interest in MVR.
I've been picking shares up in the 3s for a while now - in truth, I'm not in touch with the detail of the last six months or so here but it's the space they're in that made me take a few shares here recently. There's no guaranteeing anything as always but my god is this an interesting space right now and this mob have been doing it for long enough that, perhaps, they're able to answer "yes" / "right now" to the right kind of questions from the right kind of big players.
My position is big enough to keep me interested is all I'll say :)
As for the, apparent, tumbleweeds - take no notice, I've seen it all before over the years, one quarter nothing seems to be happening then the next day it's bagged+ when "they" decide to make it so - if you think you're right then just wait it/them out.
PS: If you think the recent name change to MVR from EVRH is nothing then guess again - branding baby ..........
Mel, i realy, really believe in the product but right now have lost faith in the current implementation. A huge weekend coming and a stagnant sp tells me I am not alone. Other investors are right now selling? sp dropping? its mad!
Yeah, and I didn't quite understand the bit about £50 invested. We are a bit more serious than that.
Bonker
fair reply .
whats your take on this share if you don't mind me asking . are you in heavy and recently . thanks
Hi Horse.mouth, I understand you bought high at 15p+, you must have believed in the product then as you do now, so take a step back, VR is still on its way, that’s not changed, the Music Industry will survive in one form or another, no change, MelodyVR have developed ‘leaps and bounds’, big change, investors and partners have a huge amount of confidence in the product, big change....the only factor missing is monetisation, it will be a reality within the next few weeks, big change!! Have a beer, start believing, all the long term holders have the same experience, just believe in the company!! GLA
@lf - I've seen plenty of stuff in my time :)
These boards are all the same - multi-account pros looking to take regular PIs to the cleaners and regular PIs with £50 "invested" making the vast majority of the noise between themselves although this site is without doubt the worst for that and a proper 9-bob note in its own right of course.
Horse
The share price is 'at the mercy' of traders, as you must know.
Once Melody start to monetise, which they soon will, the market will react to revenue, and thus profit. That's what market do.
As for your 6.8p - you are down by just 2.5p. So look at it that way.
Mel, as an aside, 6.8p is my current average, i did buy a large chunk |(for me) at 15.6p, yes over 16p and look where it is now, this is the majority on savvy investors telling us in their opinion the sharte is way overvalued with little sign of potential in the current boards hands., even with Live Nation, surely a flash in the pan that has all ready petered out..
Mel, i am "knocking" this share because of the way the sp is reflecting the investors interest, needs a really powerful incentive for them to re-invest, too many fingers burned without promises being kept. If you have been following this share foe over three years you would expect some stabilisation by now but instead we have a CEO(amateur) who makes promises and then fails keep them, not even close, to the point of lying. As a new investor knowing this would you trust him no matter how good the"promise" of the company appears to be? too many blinkered people on this chat site and what they really want and need is a competent CE|O not this music engineer, someone who can grab this company and move it onward and upward. Lets all ask for some new direction, lets ask for a steadily rising sp, now not in 10 years time, if ever and if other companies let us. the agreements in place will not last forever, in fact they will last no time at all if another forward looking company comes along.
Bonker
as this is the first share/forum i have bothered to post ( and i very much enjoy it ) is it standard the quality of posting to what you come across on other share forums ----- you must have seen some mad posts --- thanks.
Knowing LN as I do ( from a previous life) they most certainly won't just be sitting on their hands while C19 eats their (enormous) lunch - they'll do something ...
Hi horse.mouth, you do baffle me, the SP has stabilised at 4.5p, until there are indications the subscription model is about to be operated there won’t be a substantial interest by the City investors, I would expect the SP to increase by next Tuesday due to the hype of the Wireless Festival and when MelodyVR release their weekly experiences. But you must realise MelodyVR are in a totally different place to when you bought at 6.8p, why keep knocking the share your invested? IMO
Lofas
they are all over this , all of us are just waiting for that moment . Melody/Live Nation have the whole year programmed.
Personally, I think their business development manager is on the case.
Lord,
based on LN own view of the world, one would expect them to buy a chunk of MVR yesterday.
lofas sit tight mate , bit of a blow with the Rns , but its working through .
have heart in below
Last year we entertained 250 million fans with 180 thousand events in 44 countries worldwide. Somewhere in the world, every 20 minutes there is a Live Nation event.
Hallo Melody can you help us please----------
Read the message from LN again and again. You will then realise how undervalued MVR is.
It’s crying to move up.
Based on LN Moan, MVR should be in deep 20tis.
Something I don5 understand...
Why LN are not increasing the VR content and bringing love music folks closer to the music?
It a valid Q. To their business development manager...instead of telling us the bleeding obvious,
Do something proactive.
Here is what they say today,
Today the live music industry stands together to call for action, with support from hundreds of artists including The Rolling Stones, Sir Paul McCartney, Coldplay, Dua Lipa, Liam Gallagher, Little Mix, Skepta, Ed Sheeran & many more
Last year, the live music industry added £4.5bn to the economy and supported 210,000 jobs across the country
Up to 50% of the live music industry's workforce is facing unemployment, leading to a catastrophic loss of skills
Music festivals support 85,000 jobs, but with the entire summer cancelled, many are currently facing collapse
90% of grassroots music venues are under threat of closure. They need a £50 million cash injection to ensure they do not go out of business
