Like others on here, the Wireless music itself doesn't exactly float my boat. But as we are viewing this from the investment angle, that doesn't really matter.
It's a clever idea mixing old and new. From last years Wireless-goers point of view, it's what they already like together with what they are almost certainly going to like.
Knock yourselves out. It's free. (next year it won't be).
Hi ha bad.
I’m staying with you all the way to £1.
Respect to that Pete
This is not my kind of music at all, quite frankly I cant stand it
However, last years Wireless was a tremendous and Melody were extremely professional in the delivery
Im sure most of the music industry will be watching and if Melody can replicate last years success when the industry will be more interested it is a shop window not just for other types of music but also for potential purchasers of MVR
As its not 'live' you wont have the waiting around time so it should be even better than last year.
i listened to a very moving BLM conversation this morning on yes RADIO 2 Ken Bruce . i don't think we should underestimate that this and the new Melody style could go global very quickly .
Rum.
You make a good point. Considering the amount of time they've had against the amount of artists performing, this is one huge achievement in this current situation. A great example of how Melody can deal with high demand with a short lead in time.
To add; WIRELESS CONNECT would and could not exist without MelodyVR. Makes you wonder what form of revenue Melody must be acquiring from this...
Lol, respect to that.BB... I listen to both old school and new music.... The line up ain't for us share holders to listen too unless Ur into it ... It's for the next generation youngsters and for them to enjoy the platform MVR offers t to experience such music...
We are in a filming and photographic era time.... Social media is made out of it.....
Watch this space ....
Any old school dinosaurs trying to rip the lineup I suggest you pull the Arial up on Ur radio and go about your business.

BB
i like that .
To be honest I don't follow music more into the oldies. But looking at this line-up its fantastic, even though I've not heard of most of them. One thing I am sure of it sets the stage for when we do have biggest names.
IMO anyone down playing this list, knows less than me and I know nothing about music, although I've heard of Elvis, I think Lofas should leave the building.
agree with that rum fuddle. quite an achievement in the current situation.and means hopefully there won't be hours of fillers etc.they can put on a full programme each day i hope with those numbers.
I think a surprise announcement would be a nice bonus, but wouldn't bank on it tbh. They didn't include a line saying "and more to come..." - the comms looks pretty final. Let's work with what we've got.
PR has already started from media, let's hope for these artists to start plugging the event over the coming week. The last few days running up to last year's festival was heavy on marketing from MVR. Let's hope for something similar.
Nowhere in any of the adverts & posts have I seen anything that hints at "bigger acts to come" "more names to follow", which is what In would expect to see if they are trying to build excitement by holding names back.
Even without a 'star turns' I think that getting 60+ acts to perform at their venues is amazing and I am happy to see MVR finally progressing but that is tempered slightly by the lack of a big draw or 3.
that clip of ally pally is touch of class , get ready for a jaw dropping 3 day festival watched by 500 million people , and this going down as the new way to view music period .
Nicely said A1
Rumfuddle...
You really think 'ALL' names would be released first thing on a Monday morning.
Heard of build up?
Simon Bates and Steve Write are headlining the A/P DJ set. brilliant
Lofas.
You're an investor (allegedly), and have started your own 'solo' campaign in down talking a very impressive line up.
You should be asking yourself your very own question... 'Are you serious?' LOL.
Now @10k views in 3 Hours... And no artist has even started plugging it.
We have substantial Media channels now plugging it.
MelodyVR plugged in Fox News over the weekend.
Live from LA Names getting bigger.
AM Interview on CNBC earlier this month.
Serious viewing numbers over the weekend (re.: JOJO)
Yeah.... i'd be really upset as one of those 'investor folk'...
As usual this board is awash with the deluded shouting how MVR can do no wrong and the doom and gloom mongers for whom MVR can do no right.
When I 1st invested in 2017, MVR having full airing rights to a Major festival like wireless was exactly what was hoping for, its brilliant, BUT the headline acts, the top of the bill acts are definitely missing from this years lineup. Those are the acts that catch the media attention. I hope that a couple of names are being held back.
I watched a good portion of last years Wireless live on my headset and whilst it is not my taste in music i found myself caught up in the experience and watched far more of it than I expected to. I shall watch some of this weekends too and I hope that even without the crowd it still has some of that rawness and excitement that made last years so good.
"old school dude", my you sound "with it"!
Lol Lof you don't even know who the artist are lol like I said if your some old school dude you ain't gona know about this music .... What were u waiting for beejees or sutin
A1, are you serious? Wise guy? Are you not able to cope with any view different than yours?
add the others plus USA and we could hit 500 m , mels figure was 300m for uk alone going by the old line up .
this is perfect .
Nice one King massive reach that
I've added up all the Instagram only followers of all these acts and the total comes in just over 72 million followers! That is some reach! Thats not to even mention Facebook and Twitter.
