Is the Cotec presentation available to watch online anywhere? Couldn't catch it live today.
Nasty day in the markets
Which ‘math’ told you that the share price couldn’t go below 9p? Never heard of such equations…
Agree, still on track for revenues this year by the sound of it as well, mentioned it about 3 times
He did also name drop Tesla but save that for a later date when the market is better!
Very positive from Cotec all around. Good they started with us. For the record I counted 9 Super ......'s
Presenting and available to view tomorrow at :

I concur with your posts and do not think you have missed anything. Anything that is within my knowledge, anyway.
But people are rightly wary of AIM stocks, especially in this part of the economic cycle.
People are rightly wary of AIM Directors too. The broken promises, misleading statements and outright lies sometimes.
Delivering Songwe will not only be financially transformational for the company. It will also underpin the reputations of senior people here (or reaffirm credibility).
And those things, once achieved, will IMO bring significant fresh investor capital here, even allowing for the macro stuff. Then the SP will naturally re-rate. AIMO. GLA.
Nope Parker, that's exactly how we all feel
Also, just a further note
the CLN terms were proposed before the following add on values
- placing to fund a 6m EURO german pilot plant
- 1.5m funding for wind turbine project
- 50/50 JV with Cotec for US operations, which didn't previously exist
So one could argue the HyProMag holding now comfortably eclipses the current cap, regardless of Songwe
Cristalball, also Finton, LWHL
Exactly, thank you for youe post, feeling the same here.
This is the reason I raised the question whether someone has an objective opinion (or valuation or guesstimate or whatever) on
MKA ex Songwe
as well as
MKA incl Songwe
If £2mln CLN equates to 10.6% of Maginito, then that values 100% of Maginito at £18.868 mln, correct?
MKA owning 79.4% of Maginito: £14.981 mln
Current mkt cap MKA £21.300.
So all the rest :
“ its flagship Songwe Hill rare earths project ("Songwe") in Malawi with a Definitive Feasibility Study completed in July 2022 and an Environmental, Social and Health Impact Assessment approved by the Government of Malawi in January 2023…..
…. a rare earth separation plant at Pulawy in Poland (the "Pulawy Separation Plant") to process the purified mixed rare earth carbonate produced at Songwe Hill.
…. an extensive exploration portfolio in Malawi, including the Mchinji rutile exploration project, the Thambani uranium-tantalum-niobium-zircon project and Chimimbe nickel-cobalt project.”
valued at £6.320 mln.
Sounds ridiculous to me.
Or is this too simple?
Indeed. And that is one reason why I have remained here. I have repeatedly stated my faith in the BOD (and the CEO in particular), but I have been in enough AIM stocks, and watched horrors unfold elsewhere without thankfully being a holder (like HZM right now for example), to never be complacent in that faith.
At least the directors options don't vest until MDA is over the line
Given the last raise was essentially pitched as being for the purpose of getting Songwe over the line, they need to achieve this goal.
Failure to get the MDA is being priced in....
Still a strong buy imo. The SP's got severely constipated but good news has been backing up for a while. Cotec's investment and the JV etc. The MDA is getting ever closer and when it lands it should be the enema that delivers a massive SP explosion.
Looks like a Cotec quote misattributed to MKA by sharetalk?
Not sure if it's just me seeing things but from this tweet, it could be interpreted that mkango are gently turning their attention away from the Malawi/Songwe MDA and going all in on the US JV roll out.
Any thoughts?
"#MKA's primary aim will shift towards introducing the HyProMag technology in the US."

Cotec are marking it to market.
It's right there in front of you - do the math.
No such thing as a floor on AIM.
Below the current mcap I should say.
sure but *** packet math also tells you that this can't drop below the current sp ...
Movement even on a positive RNS seems the MDA is the thing to move this share they need to get that over the line.
At least it incentives Cotec to get a move on ...
'As announced on 14 September 2023, the roll-out of the HyProMag technology in the US is continuing with ongoing scoping studies ahead of the commencement of the feasibility study. Discussions with the US Government, potential customers and recycling partners have commenced and are ongoing. The US roll-out will be completed in parallel with UK and German based developments and is expected to benefit from operational experience and production ramp-up in the UK and Germany. First production is expected in the UK in 2023 and in Germany in 2024. Revenue from the US operation is targeted for 2025/2026'
