The Avacta sp did drop below placing price but did quickly recover and moved the sp north quickly. I have spent a few days reading everything I can and can see why this company is of high interest to the new management. I did buy early last week and sold out in the week, at a good profit and that was simply because of the placing shares issue.
Will certainly take and hold shares here after the placing shares have been actioned later in the month and I might have to pay more but that's the risk I will take and I could be wrong! GLA
I have been invested in many companies (and before aim) that have had Placings over the last 39 odd years, and from memory only one didn’t struggle, but they all went down some.
LSAI’s last Placing was the most devastating I’ve ever seen which makes this current SP even more strange.

Fully diluted shares including warrants = 4,705,337,398
So what's first...reorganisation of share capital to below 0.1p nominal, or another consolidation..? genuine question

Different situations..different business. Did they have warrants also? That is key
They (Kamani and Hughes) invested in Avacta in mid 2020 and the share price of Avacta never fell to the placement price - quite the contrary in fact :-)
I could not agree more.
Look at the history of any placing, the price drops for a period of time down to that price and sometimes below it.
If this doesn’t then isn’t that insider trading so also illegal?
I’m not de-ramping, as I am still very much sunk to the nuts BUT this has to go down. If it doesn’t there’s something VERY seriously wrong imho
The SP is currently 0.65, the Placings is at 0.20. ... (!)
"Who would buy any at all at this price when it’s going to drop to 0.20"
Finally someone with some sense on this board.
Exactly
It held last time until all the stop losses were dealt, took about two days from memory
Who would buy any at all at this price when it’s going to drop to 0.20
Who would buy now at c. 0.70 when the placing is 0.20 ??. ...
Because it cannot be allowed to go to high because then the offer of 0.20 would look questionable?
IMO
And all because???
