It’s all about supply and demand! Only now is it being realised that more oil is required for longer.
Our leader AB I believe has played a blinder and will receive his Garland of laurels in the not too distant future. JOG will be much sought after.
..........I wasn't being entirely serious about JOG presenting at COP 26, btw..........
..........but you never know.
I blame the medication.
..........it's all in the stars.
If JOG can wrap up a deal quickly, maybe they'll be given a slot at COP 26 ("in partnership with Italy" - God help us - what's THAT all about? https://ukcop26.org/) to tell everyone how to go about 21st century extraction in ways that get politicians votes and people like Greta a sainthood (ie by pretending humans have the power to change nature to any significant extent; keep drinking the Kool Aid).
Does anyone know how all these people are travelling to Glasgow?

Two very different opinions from Dick and vk. vk is correct say the sp has risen circa 60% over the last 10 business days. His statement ".there will be no farm out jv announcements until after COP26" is his own opinion, I read today that Australia may well not attend, with COVID others may follow - so who knows. I also read today (sorry yesterday - its early) the world need more fossil fuel - so it's all up in the air - will news drop or won't it - I'm keeping my ticket.
I would just add imo there will be no farm out jv announcements until after COP26 after which talks can continue in ernest that takes us to the Christmas break so any announcement is likely to be in January/February 2022 in the meantime the sp will drift as all AIM stocks do on the no news factor as the buyers dissappear and the bored pis sell and buy the next rags to riches story.
Hi there dickupham I entirely agree with you it's a very risky trading strategy however I doubt this will go much higher in the short term as the placing shares are in play at this level.Indeed you sell today at 175 and tomorrow you wake up to a Farm Out RNS " Joint Venture with BP" I doubt you're going to have much appetite for your cornflakes !
One has to hope that any announcement comes when you've bought in low waiting for the rally rather than selling and waiting for a repeat of the recent titanic decent to 108.
vc......perhaps the advice you give (ie: sell) is sound if you're focused only on short term price movement.
From a longer term perspective, it would be such a pity to have sold one's holding, only to read one morning not long after (before the market opens) that the event everyone has been waiting for these past nearly 7 months (be it farm out, merger, sale or a combination of the three) has finally come to pass.
See if the recent 60%increase can still be called spectacular when/if that happens. It'll be pedestrian by comparison. And try jumping back in at anything like a sensible price when the news is out. You're likely to be disappointed.
I retain my faith in JOG's team to deliver to LTHs the value they've undertaken to

Hello there Dukulas cat here .The count advises caution after a spectacular 60% rise and expects a round of profit taking very soon don't get caught holding the parcel when the music stops !
.....any idea what's going to win the 17.30 at Wolverhampton, Enrico? You seem really switched on - how much should we all invest?.
Do you think IGas having the word "gas" in it has made any difference? Does iGas have anything else to recommend it or doesn't that matter?
This is the same Igas that fell from 35p to 15p in 5 trading sessions earlier this month? I’ve got enough volatility in Jog thanks …
I hope you've taken advantage of my IGAS suggestion: 10% up since my post, and rising.
IGAS is flying.
