You did well TT.

Hi Ray. There are many unknowns but what i do know is after many years of paper losses i am now showing a decent profit. ATB Speedy
Total
Keep up the good work. It is difficult to estimate revenue and profit in advance since there are so many moving parts and so much we don't know.

Indeed they did Bluebelly and well done to them for that.
In my defense the numbers were pretty much as I expected on an ongoing basis. The big jump was due to a one off £5m reversal of impairments. Without that JLP profit was £2.6m against my forecast of £2.3m. I shall sleep soundly at night knowing that my financial model is pretty accurate.
I shall now update it for the great news at Windsor.
Earnings0.48p/s
They smashed your target of 0.09 to 0.13.
Happy days

I wish it was 6p per share that would be good - looks like a picked a few good days not to comment !!
The financials are pretty much known from the information already out there. There will naturally be variations for exchange rates and the impairments, finance costs and dep/am can vary as can what the final tax will be due to offsetting losses and tax rules in the various countries.
Earnings for H1 - £4,040m (I think they were written down slightly after).
Earnings for H2 - £5,640m.
Operational costs not known but I estimate £6,000m.
I estimate a PBIT of £2,330.
Now where the other costs come in is very much open to how JLP wish to play the numbers - I see an full EPS for the year of 0.090 to 0.13p.
A profit - not wonderful but we must remember that most of the really good news came after July 2019 from a financial perspective.
Hi All. Riverfort mentioned twice. Will give me sleepless nights. ATB Speedy
Hi 3cardbrag - yes you had it right - I only posted to change the heading as we were all posting under squid not squib - that's all - just being pedantic.
Max2Mentor - I would be shocked if they had used all the Riverfort money - not sure that we have been informed that they have used any of it - not from my recollection - to be honest I just don't know - and there's me thinking I knew most things JLP. maybe it will be in the update under liabilities.
Agree with other comments, you’ve not put the Decimal point in the right place.
Look at it another way, profit for the period for the interims was about £760k. Market cap was probably about £40m at that time.
My apologies guys....I realized now it was not 99 cents...it is 0.99 cents and I have the decimal point wrong. Sorry for the noise !!
Bricks
Get your decimal point in the right place on xe.com
0.06 pence should be entered as 0.0006
Kalan I couldn't agree with you more.
I must admit I still have reservations about Colin & Leon's motives for recent presentation in London.
Is this connected to a potential fundraise ?
Have they fully utilised $50m Riverfort facility ?
Any answers welcome.

Guys...give me some time please how is the below reported in an RNS in March and now you tell me its wrong...surely it is what it reads !! 6 pence was 99 cents in March !!!!
Positive earnings per share for the period 0.06 pence (ZAR 0.99 cents) (2017: loss of 0.025 pence (ZAR 44.15 cents)
Kalan - A firework that doesn't go off - not a wet sea creature.
That's exactly what I was highlighting in my original post. Squib not squid
A firework that doesn't go off - not a wet sea creature.
Bricks - well done on your buy - you are lucky to have purchased shares in a good company because you are totally wrong in all of your posts today - p.s. you bought in too soon IMO - the share is currently retreating from recent gains.
Jammer - you have it right here I believe in that fine chrome will be break even if we are lucky in these accounts and is more likely to be a loss. Windsor will be the big plus but I have to disagree slightly in that I think the Windsor profits will dwarf DCM losses - but I may have my JLP rose tinted glasses on.
Share price movement - folks jumped in to get ahead of the news with a view to selling thereafter into the volume created by the news. Too many like minds took it up fast and reached the top resistance point triggering selling before the news even came out. I have support at 4p and a back up of 3.7p if that fails. 4.2p did however put a floor in recently - so no givens here.
The future is bright and there will be no hiding that when we see updates in Feb / March next year with the possibility of more good news inbetween now and then. Next 3 months will all be about generating enough cash to pay for the recent deals - would be nice to avoid borrowing to bridge the gap - if anyone can do it, Leon can.
