I have my grand plans as well D220. Now my holdings have just got to play ball!!
A little bit of o/t at the weekend does no harm! If/when HZM doubles, I will be increasing my holding here and KAV.
D220 - I don't think Dcat is in HZM but i'm delighted with the performance there. I was alluding to ARCM. Another one hopefully poised and ready. Sorry for the o/t gents.
Westie - Horizonte? :-)
Same from me Dcat many thanks for this research it's truly impressive. Great BB here look like a good bunch with lots ok knowledge.
Hello Westie50 it seems we have the same plan in mind! Exciting times ;o)
Dcat i'll just add my thanks for your fantastic research here. You eventually persuaded me to invest here and I don't regret it. If that other stock we're in comes good soon, then there'll be a lot more available to invest here!!
Beer = creativity. Has the thought earlier. Whilst trial mining permit will restrict what can be extracted under a licence I wonder if a separate trial mining licence could be obtained for mocidad. Assuming same kind of deposit and grade could we kind of cheat the system and have 2 separate mines feeding plant at an industrial site near the port? I.e. double up our operation if or when capital allows.
Absolutely no idea If possible or not, but what a work around that would be ;)
Think the margins certainly if pigment grade product is part of plans means it’ll be a priority for any party. Whether other parties would have the technology for pigment grade I don’t know, certainly a few methods now but not something any Tom, Dick or Harry has. From memory it’s the latest crux interview with largo in which their ceo said they were being offered debt at extremely cheap rates. Financing risk I think is quite low, however if we need to partner they’ll obviously try and leverage for a higher equity portion of the project. If they take the Mickey though Jangada could much more easily start on the lower capex non pigment route for the first year or two, build up cash and then build pigment plant ourselves (with fodere providing technical assistance)
Bf, at this stage I am concentrating my attention on the size of the potential prize, that in itself will provide any prospective partner with the incentive to structure an appropriate deal, that would be given fair consideration by our board, my sense is, that whoever the partner or partners are and whatever deal is decided as the right one by our board to progress, if the size of the prize is substantive enough, a funding mechanism will be found, if the PEA is anything near to what DC has suggested, I would suggest we may have a few prospective partners knocking on the door,....GL S
DC, just to echo the guys words and to also share my appreciation, it is a superbly detailed synopsis, especially taking into account the number of various inputs that have to be studied, reviewed and understood, hopefully it will act as stimulus for others to further their research, so they can better understand the potential that is developing, thank you and I am sure those beers will taste amazing next week, Cheers S.
Dcat/Swizz, do you guys think Largo has the cash reserves to stump up say $40 million to make that happen? I have a feeling it already has some pretty big capex commitments in the pipeline.
Thanks from me too Dcat. Much appreciated.
No worries guys. It’s an exercise I like to try and do just to make sure things like they’ll be good. Not claiming below will be accurate, but it’s what’s available and I’m very happy how it looks.
BF - agreed about your gold comment. The tio2 grade if converted into pigment grade is equivalent to 15gram per tonne gold from surface. If it was gold MC would be many multiples. Ok not so easy to process as gold, but when it comes down to producing and money in the bank it won’t matter!
Agreed, so many thanks Dcat. If this were a gold explorer with these kinds of potential numbers, everybody would be all over it. It does emphasise why we need Largo or another company to take a stake.
Thanks for putting the numbers together DCAT, really highlights the potential here.
DCAT, thanks for all the work pulling this together.. I need to spend a bit more time digesting this (over the weekend) but clearly when the PEA is finalized it should be pretty compelling! :-)
Must be time for Greece now? Have a good one!
Tex
I’m done with numbers now. Hopefully below set of posts make some sense. As always better understand the rationale and thought process do you can play with numbers how you feel fit. Anything doesn’t make sense then shout and I’ll try and explain
There are no doubt other potential scenarios including use of a fodere plant or copying the Neometals approach of partnering with another company in which concentrate is produced locally then sent off to a JV partner for further work into final high value products (neometals plan is heavier processing gets down by Chinese partner)
