dominate, huh? Well, surely better a wanna-be dictator than an ethics-free supplicant, right alfa?
Sanchez - he is simply trying to dominate the board for whatever I know not what.
You have been following the Bushveld, Vanadium and VRFB story to know exactly what the deal with the actual technology that we are talking about is. Others looking in on this will not and will only see a public discussion board filled with bile and nonsense - if they wish to educate themselves on the subject of Vanadium and VRFB flow batteries then they will need to read the articles here:-
https://www.thebushveldperspective.com/blog/public-articles-1
wow. definitely not stupid
You are absolutely pathetic.
Thanks so much for that Sanchez. All that phoney maturity, back-handed compliments and thinly-disguised insults. Plus priceless advice on how I might be a better person, all while having no interest in a battle with me! You're a classy guy. And yet, you still somehow manage(shock!) to avoid the central point I am making: I know what I know and what I know is all the available public information points to a rushed, unprofessional selldown by Bushveld of its IES stake and the resulting diminishing of the relationship between these 2 companies. That is an important narrative that IES shareholders should be aware of. Yet there has been a consistent and often aggressively personal response from a group - including, or have you forgotten already, you, my dear Sanchez - that I have discovered absolutely evangelise Fortune and Bushveld, towards me. Broadly speaking, I would have put that in the 'all's fair.....' bucket except that THIS IS THE INVINITY BOARD and the rhetoric against me has almost entirely constituted Bushveld apolgia (is that a word, Sanchez? Probably not, but its hard sometimes as I am only 'not stupid') and not relevant to IES. As for your paranoia, seriously, go pound sand. Try posting anything critical of Bushveld sometime and then come talk to me.
Bluerill, I have no interest in a battle with you, I don't know you. I simply disagree with your arrogance (it is very, very ugly and unnecessary) and have a different opinion to you on specific points you make. These are public bulletin boards and you have zero ability to dictate who should and shouldn't post - you could perhaps set up your own forum? And honestly if you think Alfa has any influence over anyone else posting, you are way off the mark again. I also do not appreciate messages concerning me being shared between two parties and then posted here who I have no direct involvement with or interest in. It's absolutely paranoid and ludicrous that you think that is even the case. I find the fact the two of you are even messaging as you are with the suggestion either of you have influence in that respect over even one other poster quite absurd and mind-blowingly arrogant. It's the worst part of LSE tbh along with petty calls of 'cultism' for anyone who just backs a company. You could arguably say you are displaying the same behaviour you accuse others of.
You obviously aren't completely stupid, and I will leave you to your board, but seriously try reigning in your delusions of grandeur, and influence. They are wholly unprofessional and don't do you or InVinity any favours.
All the best with your investments.
Doesn’t look like the news has travelled across the pond yet looking at the SP this afternoon!!! A very good day nonetheless
That's a tough one. For the immediate past at least (-1y to the present), my guess is BMN have been treated like any other minority shareholder; that is, IES management would take a call from BMN management most days, but BMN would not be 'inside' and therefore not privy to the material, non-public information regarding a transformational deal of this sort. Of course they would have been aware of Zulch and Co's desired pursuit of such a deal - since that has been publicly disclosed numerous times - but likely not the important development details. From there, certainly since Bushveld broke ranks and started selling their stake and completely disrupting the market price at the beginning of '21, it is a dead cert that Fortune and Co. would not have been any more aware of the deets of the Siemens-Gamesa deal than any of us.
And if this deal was so long in the making, as suggested, is it not equally as likely that BM became interested in participating because of the quality of the parties involved rather than vise versa?
careful my Lord. Them's fightin' words around here......
Not only are there other suppliers of vanadium, IES is going to a leased model of vanadium, which means amortizing the initial V capex over many, many decades since in theory vanadium does not degrade, and can be used from one long term project to another. Add to that the fact the vanadium is literally everywhere, and can be mined from many sources, including an almost limitless supply from stone coal in China, and you can see V supply is a short term issue, not a long term one.
“The companies also plan to commercialize the vanadium flow battery through sales channels.”
That’s really good news for potential sales going forward!

Sanchez, you're a perfect example of an empty barrel who thinks if he pumps out a few slurs and gets a few tick-ups in return, his apologist nonsense becomes factual. However, you are just as wrong as Alfa, though not nearly as clever. The dirty little secret is we can get our V from multiple sources and it is the latest fantasy from Bushveld fanatics like BBN that somehow none of this would have been possible without the soaring vision of Fortune and Bushveld. That's complete bunk. If BMN were in fact central to this deal, they would have been inside by the beginning of 2021, and would never have been able to engage in their appalling stake sell-down in the first place. They were not. Bushveld's presence here could well have added value after the RTO but unfortunately, Fortune's ambitions could not be supported by his balance sheet and BMN if anything, ended up endangering, rather than enabling, this transformational deal. Now, I will offer you the same deal as I did Alfa: stop trying to use this board as yet another forum to evangelise Fortune and BMN and I will stop spanking you and in the process revealing the truth about your precious Bushveld. This board is for Invinty shareholders and BMN is yesterday's news.
Besides, let's not spoil this great day with an internal squabble. We're all richer on paper than we were this morning. Not only that, there's the real possibility now of this being just the beginning. I've just watched Larry on VSA, talk about grinning like the cat that got the cream! This man has delivered so much and will continue to do so.
Bluerill again showing how arrogance is simply weakness in disguise.
If you don't think security of vanadium supply at a reasonable price is an essential component of this deal all you are showing is that you have a chip on your shoulder that is getting in the way of you being rational and seeing reality.
You also wouldn't even have a company called InVinity that could do this deal in the first place without Bushveld.
I would caution people to be careful not to listen to this chap too much. He says a great deal, but seems to actually understand quite a lot less.
Fantastic news and about bloody time!!! Surely we’ll soon fly past the recent mid 200 highs and upwards thereafter? Significant partnership with a significant partner :-))
Do you realise how profoundly muddled your (completely frivolous) comment is? You want Invinity shareholders to 'thank' bushveld for a business relationship that is what Bushveld is in business to do (ie., sell V), benefits both parties and is completely independent of the behaviour in question, and in doing so, ignore or forgive their deeply damaging action in selling down their stake in our company??? yeah, nah.
duh. I thought you were the smart on, alfa.
Alfa, don't worry, you can't educate pork.
Vanadium flow batteries require Vanadium - get over it you arrogant arse
In fact, I have been purposefully quiet on bushveld since my original ranting out of reluctant acceptance that the cult of Fortune, etc is simply too deep and far gone for any effort to honestly analyse BMN's behaviour, to have any effect at all. However, if anyone insists on bringing back mention of that company and trying to spin their behaviour in selling down their strategic holding (their key role in getting the RTO deal done in the first place is and has been, duly acknowledged) in a positive light (AGAIN!), I will not be kind. Yes, this is a warning and yes, I'm being exactly as arrogant as I sound. Tough toenails.
please don't go there, alfa; you have no idea whatever about this transaction if you think that was a consideration. This deal has been long in the making and is completely driven by the tech and gamesa-siemens's view on Invinity's position within flow and the industry generally. bnm was entirely outside ANY material consideration and in fact, their desperate position selldown was a marginal nuisance if anything.
Invinity investors who complained about Bushveld selling their shares would do well to consider whether Siemens would have even given Invinity a second glance had Bushveld not been standing behind them with guaranteed supply of Vanadium.
Great News!
Very happy to be associated with this type of venture!
“Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy
In April 2017, Gamesa merged Siemens Wind to form Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy. Gamesa Electric is a 100% subsidiary of this merged company.”
Now let’s get a move on and get this joint venture really up and running !
PC
Transformational even. All in one, this RNS: 1. validates flow within the battery storage ecosystem; 2. validates Invinity's technology and competitive position within that ecosystem; 3. insures the future of IES by funding its next generation product; and 4. underpins the share price at 175p, establishing it as a support level for a move (much) higher.
