I’m pmsl at nickel investor talking about credibility ..it’s something he greatly lacks for sure...
You’ve gone very quiet on the I3e board all of a sudden ;)
and not only have they battered their credibility, they have battered the value on the rest of their holdings.
Look at the nose-diving price action at CRS. Market is losing confidence in them and their strategy
Crystal Amber haven't done their credibility any good here. They ramped it via twitter in October indicating a target price that was 9x higher and then started selling out !!
On the flip side, if some of the stocks you hold start to get hammered, it increases the shares you hold in decent companies in percentage terms, so you have to sell the good ones to fund the bad ones resulting in a portfolio full of rubbish.
That would be a rather silly rule, because if the shares in a company they hold took off, they'd have to immediately start selling and miss making any moey from the SP rise.
This would only make sense if they were an income fund, in which case they wouldn't be holding HUR in the first place.
Thanks, guys.
Isn't it part of CA's governance that they can't hold more than 5% of their funds in any single company.
Seem to remember reading it somewhere.
Slip!!!
Because .7 divided by 5.51 = .13
Slip anchor - 13% of the shares they held = 0.7%/5.51% = 12.7%
Corral-Part
Crystal Amber has reduced their holding in HUR from 5.51 % to 4.81%=0.7% where do you get your 13% from.
Oh yes, where is EmptyVessel this morning with his words of wisdom, I was pondering?
Fangdig, "Tullow was also on my watch list", I also had another look at TLW Last week and did a bit of digging on it after the bin-man and EV decided to go all-in across there (just to see if there was anything worth taking a punt on) - nope, there were 't enough $h!tty sticks around to tempt me - with a debt of 3 billion to service, only 60k barrels production, it was always a car crash waiting to happen.
Never do calculations in the morning, eh.
They sold almost 14,000,000 shares which equates to about 13% of their previous share holding.
Apologies.
Actually think the SP is holding up well, certainly better than TLW this morning (was on my watchlist)
Sorry, around 13% of their share holding not 15.5%
Corral-Part....u gotta know...how to...(they) play the game...my friend...in this business....
They sold approximately 225,000,000 shares by my calculation, about 15.5% of their holding
Nickel Investor. - Do you really think we give a damn what you sold or bought? You are like a child.
....can''t argue with that Shutts
It's interesting to compare between CA and us mug punters.
They've simply bought and sold at different times and aimed to make money - that's it.
We've been holding thinking HUR is going to be worth loads and will make us all rich - and we've all lost money.
HUR is not fxxx at all you see it come back and watch the tr1/s next few days
Sold out of my 33 re-entry immediately on the open. Will look again later in the week.
By my rough calcs Crytsal Amber pumped in c.£19m to De La Rue last week and needed to fund that from somewhere. Sale of 0.7% of HUR net'd approx £4.6m at 33p
They've been making £ on HUR for a good while now...take a read.

This AIM, so no chance this will be anywhere near 50p let alone above, in the next 2 years. Sentiment driven so HUR are fuxxked
Well..Crystal Amber are under water with De La Rue, may be took some profits to increase the holding in DLAR and therefore reduce their average...
