markets may have already factored in the GWA disaster, look at the SP lately.
"Surely the market will take the lack of GWA wells as negative?"
It's a good thing for me. Allows focus on Lancaster and Lincoln will still be tied back of which all three wells produce income in large amounts which will keep Spirit happy ish too.
I think there was some concern HUR would chase GWA drilling which 'could' be money down the drain. Instead they'll focus shorter term on Lancaster and revenue generation.
They are going for the easy wins in the next two years and leaving the more speculative parts of the project for when they have a better cash flow and are better established
HUR need the OGA to approve the Lincoln tie in. It's just procedural and in the RNS for completeness and I'm sure will be resolved soon.
probably a decent working knowledge of the roads around Telford
They expect to receive but forewarning that if not granted the rules say would have to abandon. Seems just to be flagging the risk, but I am just an office worker from Telford. What do I know
Sorry WD
Well... don't know about today, but with WC ...WW... it was pretty obvious
You can never tell how the markets going to react to any news from HUR.

Surely the market will take the lack of GWA wells as negative?
I thought that but reads as if its just the rules they, and other oilies, operate by. It seems that its not in the companys control, so shouldn't read negatively on HUR
well it also says "Confirmation of the tie-in programme is expected during Q1 2020."
Should we be worried by, "In the absence of OGA approval for the tie-in of the Lincoln Crestal well (205/26b-14), the licence partners will be required to plug and abandon the well before 22 June 2020 in line with current regulatory approvals."?
WD ... WW..... Hopefully we all now understand the word; abandoned.
focus funds on what is now known to be likely to produce success. Not worth throwing good money after bad on further exploration GWA
What are people's thoughts on no more GWA wells? Do you think it could be negative I.e. can't and won't be attempting any warwick drills because of the past ones. Or positive that they can clean it all up from Lincoln?
