Gold $2035 as I write.
All my gold and silver shares up between 3 % & 5 % apart from Hummingbird.
Usual nonsense from Market Makers not wanting to see a positive RNS.
I have Hummingbird shares coming out of my ears so beware , I might be ramping.
This morning I have just bought some more.
Just announced Gold expected to break $2150 and silver $30 this month
Good job we are in both
My take on it...
A fair amount of good and some not so good in the RNS.
Production off and costs up (as previously indicated) - so not a great quarter in that respect. However, the times are exceptional.
Drill results excellent. And we should remember that it is the apparent short mine life of Yanfolila that is the main reason this company is so undervalued. Looking forward to the extended life mine plan later this year.
Also, good to see both Kouroussa and Dugbe progressing.
Still concerned about Mali politics. So for me it's a hold what I have. I may add once the political situation becomes clearer, or on price opportunity.
Personally delighted if SP goes down. As a longer term investor I can pick up some even cheaper shares. I know that investing in a company operating in West Africa will attract a discount for the higher perceived political risk, the discount on this share seems way over done to me. That’s why I am buying more reinforced by an RNS providing significant confidence for the remaining part of 2020.
Great results! techandy - shut the door on your way out to the green coffin, filtered.
Totally agree fsj, was a very very positive RNS, great drill results. MM's simply trying to spook a few weaker holders to let go, flogged on higher later this morning! This is an incredible opportunity here, so much in the pipeline now to drive this higher.
Good to hear from you again FSJ, been a while!
Ignore shandy, he only does it for the attention, the rest of us aren't that silly and anybody that does sell on his comments should join him in the kitchen section of john lewis looking for a new saucepan
The production table tells the story to me in a few lines. Also reading the part about risk management for the Q to ensure continued operation. Yes at a cost, but In a mitigated way. A clever, sensible and sentisive route through what has clearly been a difficult Q for not just this company but all. I learn more and more about the struggles and limits of this kind of operation with each month.
Not the fireworks and champagne RNS that we all wanted, but right now I'll take a shakey handed brew and a brow wipe "we scraped through that one OK!". Kind of how I see Dan's response to this.
Meanwhile lots of good corporate actions underway. And for LTH's these are the things that make me happy. Behind the scenes still the machine moves forwards.
ATB Ballio
Well said FSJ. Given the covid situation a small drop in production is understandable. The main thing is the yearly target is maintained.
Any shareholder disappointed with that RNS needs to get the hell out of investing and go play tiddly winks in a padded cell! In a world full of turmoil, this is one hell of a safe haven for your cash! Gold smashing records and HUM emerging as one of the strongest investment cases in the sector! Let the weak and fickle out if they want to leave, thats AIM for you! But roll on the months and years and the trajectory here will only improve and get better and better and better!
Meanwhile in the real world gold is up $16 to $2038!!! Wow.
Somebody, anybody, please can we all perhaps, ask Dan if he will use the improved recovery rate of 94.78% to take a little bit of that gold and forge handshandy a gold saucepan? His aluminium one has finally worn out from him bashing his head against that brick wall. Perhaps he will look after the gold one
oooo shandy isn't happy lol
Drill results excellent, grades excellent, debt slashed and will be debt free in a few months, gold at record all time highs as is silver, 6 million cash in the bank lots of further development, airstrip completed couple months AISC 983 so we are making around 1100 per oz profit!
All whilst the world had fell off, I am very very happy
