Mcadder- I certainly hope your right this takes off big time, although won’t be left behind I hope I’m way ahead !!
Hello chisler , hope all is well I think everyone was getting concerned! Glad all ok !!
Alyhels it does have a train. In the form of an unstoppable juggernaut that's about to leave you behind for dust. They don't call it Great Western for nothing ;))))
All is Good with The Chisler.
Happy enough reading all these excellent posts,to which i cant add any more, apart from, i believe GWMO is much bigger than anyone thinks Brian Hall alludes to this "Looking for the big one"
Its a waiting game for me now i have all the shares i want,(no spare cash) im positive the drill results from Rockhouse, Olympic gold and Mineral Jackpot will be a lot Bigger than we all think. Especially Rockhouse.
Good Luck everyone.

Baited breath indeed !! Results eagerly awaited then the fun begins - you no who you are
Mcadder- plenty of cardboard cut outs on here don’t stoop so low me old shiner , I don’t think GWMO has a train ?? Are you confused again ramping ??
We look forward with baited breath to you doing a runner towards the Great Western mining train as it leaves the station on it's re-rate but falling over and getting left behind as we watch and laugh to see you fall flat on your face....
I reckon Chisler has done a runner with the dor bar , either that or visiting the local food banks due to GWMO useless performance on results once again. Baited breath continues.
"Looking for the big one".
I like it. This company mean business and we know they ain't talking about a big trumpet plant. There's lots and lot's of gold down there. And copper. High probability of a few "strikes" during extensive drilling programme this year as well as copper resource upgrading....
Great Western Mining present 2021 drilling plans as an 'exploration company looking for the big one'
2021-03-16 14:23:00
Great Western Mining PLC's (LON:GWMO, Euronext Growth:8GW) Brian Hall presents his 2021 plans to Proactive London with a busy year ahead in Nevada, with drilling work expected to get underway in April.
Hall explains that they have signed up a rig to drill first at Olympic Gold and then at the Rock House as well as contracting a small coring rig which can test places that are difficult to access with the large rig, including testing a copper intersect at their M4 project and drilling gold and silver veins at Mineral Jackpot.
Hall goes on to say 'we are an exploration company looking for the big one while at the same time looking to create revenue'.
I reckon it must be just me (and Alyhels) worried - to not see a post from chisler - of late.
Hope all good with you chis...
Good proactive interview
Def a pension building share - just imagine if they (obvs) strike a Biggun...;)

Think want is great that share price stayed the same long time good
Consolidation means nothing really. Share price is also irrelevant funnily enough. MCAP Vs your perceived value is the real marker!
The last thing.
Alyhils
consolidated
got flushed down the toilet
chisler
if there was a consolidation, which nothing anywhere I have read has suggested their will be (Including Univista - which is the official LSE Corporate Action notification service) then what you do doesn't matter. You won't make money on an uplift as the share price will have changed to reflect the fewer shares in circulation, you will buy fewer shares at the higher price that results from the consolidation. As this is an AIM Stock, our listing requirements are more loose than a FTSE100 company, hence we may never have one.
As per my maths below, if you sell before, you will get back money equal to share price x number of shares - fees.
If you buy after you will be purchasing on the basis of .. amount to invest (proceeds of prior sale) divided by new share price minus fees. Your broker will be happy, but you won't see any difference or make any money.
So just so I know if there is some consolidation then should I hold or be better sell and buy back in at the slightly higher price (making a bit of profit on the uplift of previous news etc prior to consolidation happening?) Sorry for the Q's I'm very new to this. Some have worked out well for me and others not so well. Thanks in advance.
Yeah i was in AST a long time back and sold after finally admitting its a dreadful company. I believe they conducted a consolidation to mainly cover the bad price it got to . I believe it did nothing to share price but happy to be corrected. As you said Consolidation is a no news here
San
Personally consolidation is 'no news' item for me as it is really administrative so no change in PI value as no change in MCap. Only caveat is if the company is dodgy and PIs nervous then a consolidation may make some sell.
So to be 100% clear If it were to happen at GWMO it is no news for me!
AIMHO APR
A share consolidation results in fewer shares held by investors, but a higher share price to compensate. I think one of the main uses of reverse stock splits or consolidations is primarily listing requirements as a company has to keep a share price above certain level to be on certain exchanges (definitely the case with American Stocks).
As an example of the above, If you had 14,000,000 shares at 0.2p, a 1 for 10 consolidation would result in 1,400,000 at 2p. The overall market value hasn't changed apart from, as Vauch said, anything that isn't devisable by the consolidation ratio at the time, but even then there is fractional pay for remainders if it is worth it.
If I have the wrong context here, let me know.
So do you or any invested here think this will be coming consolidated? EUA wasn't I don't think and that was 0.35 all the way upto 40p plus. Could GWMO not consolidate or not for a while yet?
Consolidation on aim is a constant.
But in most cases it is better to sell up on consolidation news and get back in after as it is rare that the price flips over.
Also if you have an odd number of shares that wont accurately fit the consolidation you will loose a few but negatable in value.
Hi guys Q. Do you think consolidation will mean my investment will be worth less? I'm quite new to this can someone please explain how it will work? Is consolidation a certainty here?
