With reference to this BMR tweet yesterday:
1 of 2 BMR is pleased to announce that the Directors, with the support of our 29% shareholder, Jubilee Metals, have determined to seek an ACQUISITION OF ASSETS IN THE MINING SECTOR in conjunction with a fund raising and a stock market re-listing.
Plus this from Jubilee on 14th Sept:
"I am very pleased to welcome Nick to the Jubilee board. Nick is a well-respected professional and known for his prowess in driving successful M&A transactions in our industry.
Plus the renewal of Jubilee's mining licence at Kabwe the same day.
3cardbrag - very interesting pair of tweets there from BMR yesterday:
1 of 2 BMR is pleased to announce that the Directors, with the support of our 29% shareholder, Jubilee Metals, have determined to seek an acquisition of assets in the mining sector in conjunction with a fund raising and a stock market re-listing.
2 of 2 As of today, BMR is led by Colin Bird and he is to be joined on the board by Raju Samtani; both Alex Borrelli and Antony Gardner-Hillman are stepping down from the Board.
Birdie now running BMR, former owners and licence holders at Kabwe.
This is fantastic news really regarding the kabwe liscences. It's just tainted give the sp performance currently due to unrelated circumstances. The warrants coming of age in the next few weeks were necessary to get us to where we are today and no one can plan for TW warning ppl off CB companies. The actions of the CEO in a different company in real terms is completely unrelated to where GLR is today. In some respects this is a great opportunity to top up. I'm personally not worried as the drop in sp is purely insentive nothing else.
Sorry I'm just getting back to you who wrote this l. Thanks for the reply. I was just wondering that's all if there was an industry issue/risk about using historical data. No apology required any chance to learn from like minded share holders is most welcome

I'm happy to read between the lines of the renewal of Jubilee's licence over Kabwe earlier this week.
The logic is that the processing of Kabwe tailings, as the Sable refinery, require fresh and high grade zinc ore, ie Star Zinc.
Jubilee and Galileo both know this, and I think it safe to say that the Zambian Ministry know it as well.
Given that it would be illogical to renew Jubilee's licence and then NOT grant GLR's small scale licence for Star Zinc. In cat I think they go hand in hand, as Bird has said that Jubilee and GLR are working together on the licence.
Also agree. I'm hoping that the government negotiations are going well and that the silence denotes progress rather than the reverse.
Hi Datecheck,
My comment was simply referring back to Concordia and the hiccups that ensued from the reinterpretation of previous surveys. It was not intended as a serious comment relating to the current exciting developments and I apologise if I gave the wrong impression.
I have my fingers crossed regarding the current aerial survey but would really really like to the see the small mining licence for Star Zinc appear as this would be a real confirmation of progress in structural terms.
Have a great day.
Hi whowrotethis, is there a concern of using historical data as well as new? Or do u mean just going from old data alone and risking it?
Kovango on 12th June RNS says it handed over historical and data taken from its own surveys to a subcontractor to create 3d modelling to highlight potential drill targets.
Not a dig, genuinely curious as new to the process
Thanks
DC
I am just glad this time we are not extrapelaing data from historical surveys. I just hope they calibrate the equipment properly and survey the right area and not somewhere else.
Longterm holder by the way
Note our other RNS on the day - another 6.25m warrants cashed for £37,500.
Helps with the chopper's fuel bill AND reduces some drag on our SP. All good.
Certainly an exciting time with so many or on s only the fire. Using kavango as a peer review they doubled their SP in a month or 2 by doing with their PL's on the Kalahari suture zone exactly what we have started doing with our PL's on the Kalahari copper belt. If you dare to dream, MOD resources went from 3p to 30p in 18 months back in 2016 doing what we are doing now with T3, before they got bought out by Sandfire. We own PL's with similar geology and next to both T3 and CCC's zone 5.......of which have jist invested over $600m in the area. As per CB's interview "1 good drill result and this is a completely different company". So with time and a good stream of good results there is nonreason why we can't replicate other companies success. This is the beginning of like I said before some very exciting times.
I'm not getting too excited just yet, as there's a long road ahead. But with the recent appointments and this news it does appear that things are beginning to come together.
Perhaps this is the middle of the beginning.
As that what we are lol, Galileans
Its good time to be a Galilean... let the good times roll...
Definitely got it this time MM. The bird is in the air..... so to speak
6 billion market cap.
Deal with it!

Galileo Resources plc ("Galileo "or the "Company") is, further to its announcement on 12 August 2020, pleased to announce that it has commenced a Helicopter-borne Electromagnetic Survey (EM) over two of its' highly prospective tenures within its 100% held Kalahari Copper Belt ("KCB") Project in western Botswana and expects to announce preliminary results by 31 October 2020.
Highlights
· Galileo has commenced the planned Helicopter-borne High Resolution Electromagnetic (EM) and Magnetic Survey over sections of PL40/2018 and PL39/2018 within its' highly prospective Kalahari Copper Belt Project
Highlights
· Galileo has commenced the planned Helicopter-borne High Resolution Electromagnetic (EM) and Magnetic Survey over sections of PL40/2018 and PL39/2018 within its' highly prospective Kalahari Copper Belt Project
· The survey is being completed using NRG's Xcite™ Airborne Electromagnetic (AEM) system
· The Objective of the EM survey is to define the most prospective structural setting mineralisation within PL40/2018 and PL39/2018, as well as possibly directly detect any conductive mineralisation present. The juxtaposition of an isolated conductive anomaly and a dome feature in the EM data would represent a high priority target for drill testing.
· As announced on 12th August, PL40/2018 and PL39/2018 are considered highly prospective because they are interpreted to have similar geological settings to Cupric Canyon Capital's Zone 5 and Zone 5N deposits, situated only 25 kilometres due west (which are a subset of a combined sulphide resource of 502Mt @ 1.4% Copper ("Cu") and 17g/t Silver ("Ag"), including 185Mt @ 2.0% Cu and 27g/t Ag)
· The southern portion of PL40/2018 is considered particularly prospective as this area is located within a WNW-ESE trending zone that contains five copper-silver deposits previously discovered in the KCB, including Plutus, Zeta, NE Zeta, Zone 5 Nth and Zone 5
· Again, as announced on 12th August, PL40/2018 and PL39/2018 also lie along strike of Sandfire Resources T3 and A4 copper-silver deposits, as well as Cupric's Banana Zone and Eland Zone copper deposits, situated 140km to the southwest
· NRG's Xcite™ Airborne Electromagnetic (AEM) system is understood to have been instrumental in the discovery of Sandfire Resources' (ASX:SFR) exciting, high-grade copper A4 Dome Prospect; where recent drilling has returned intercepts up to 18m at 5.2% Cu and 124g/t Ag from 77m down-hole
Colin Bird CEO said: "The whole region has become increasingly exciting due to new discoveries by Sandfire Resources and reinterpretation of geophysical work. Geophysical and geochemical anomalies and signatures have been the historical route for discovery and latest results from the region have confirmed the approach. Our initial activities will be two-fold in that we will investigate an area to the northeast which shows good geophysical potential and an area in the midst of a recent discovery. I have no doubt that time will see the Kalahari Copper Belt region emerging as a significant copper producer, since it already hosts two new world class deposits. We will keep shareholders abreast of our developments as they occur."
Here we go. Thats the RNS we have been waiting for. Im going to have to admit i thought the 12th Aug RNS meant the chopper was in the air, but that was just approving the process. But this RNS there's no doubt it. We are flying and we can expect more news to follow with how valuable this land it. We were in the top 2 of the largest land owners in terms of PL's sqkm before we bought the latest PL's, so we may even be the biggest now. Got plenty of area to choose from and therefor chance of striking gold (copper). Starting with our most suspected lucrative PL's. Very exciting!
We’re on our way. This is the beginning of the beginning.
