Not sold a share Bench and your profile on LSE is from 2014 and you probably have been investing for longer than that as well! You're not a newby and I reckon you clearly know what you are doing and have on the whole done very well from this share.
Rampant rampers should be permanently banned from LSE. Yes people can have their own personal optimistic view or pessimistic view and that's not a crime but to encourage others to part with their own money for selfish gains is not a desirable trait to say the least.
I've noticed these boards have a few people with ulterior motives and not everyone is what they appear to be. Think there are some skilled traders here who made money on the way up and are now making money on the way down. Someone sitting on big alleged losses would be worried sick and not blissfully in a carefree manner - " oh I'm down and 50p is the next target" or words to that effect. Just a suspicion so you can't point the finger at anyone but people need to be wary of these boards they should come with a health warning - that would be my recommendation to LSE to put a notice up on each board that the views of posters are their own and no reliance should be made on them.
Hope you guys get your money back or most of it at least. I was invested here a while ago but no longer.
Well shocker, there are some very strange people about and they all seem to be here lol.
Sure mate
Yep seen it many times. People buying on margin or taking out loans then losing it due to impatience or getting spiked. I got spiked here learnt a hard lesson about selling at a loss and not waiting for it go back up. I'm in at 1.70 only 586 shares. Still smarts though. Just wanted aa hot tub out of this now I'm down the price of 2 hot tubs lol
The approvals will be dropping anytime....intraday..after hours or 7am who knows but they will be here soon enough... Sentiment here from traders is waning no doubt about that but as a previous post said GDR is way more than just a Covid play which many have already forgotten. Personally I'm sitting tight as there is no need to sell at a loss when this has a long way to go.
Well said Bench...about the only sensible post today!
BB glad you are still here... Though I think you are very brave to add!
Ken, I think when the government help stops, the UK is going to be hit so hard economically that its probably worth putting all your money in gold and bracing for the ride.
I made a lot on this one so was lucky. Still went back in though and sold at a loss on that trade yesterday. Never be afraid of selling at a loss and putting it somewhere you believe is better/has better prospects. It's all related to your personal time scale and goals. The day I decided to cut my losses on quite a few (years ago) was the day my portfolio looked better and I broke a phycological barrier. I've performed much better since.
Ken, taking on debt for an investment on the markets has to be one of the most ridiculous things I've heard.
I have seen some posts across lse of people admitting to that but I just see it as plain madness.
Trouble is shocker I've seen too many stories of people taking out loads and debt hoping to double there money in a day. Which was probaly doable at the start of this pandemic but reality is kicking in.
Dadsbatty (Weird name) , how could I "get off" on others misfortunes when they are also mine?
I'm here shocker...... Not sold a single share ( bad move in hindsight!) just looking in been bit busy the last week and I'm glad otherwise I would of topped myself by the looks of it! Nothing to add to the chat here except in my view this is so oversold and once DB has a fist full of approvals things will be on the up again....I thought it was a double bagger from the £2 level so you can imagine what I think it is from this ridiculously low point... Our hearing test alone is worth twice this price! It's clear from the news around the world the Virus is not going away and a 2nd wave will be killing us come the Autumn so I'm holding and adding.
LB28 I disagree, Of course some people make money but the majority do not. Id put money on the fact that the average private investor loses money on AIM stocks.
Why are you here shocker?
Are you just one of those guys who gets off in others misfortunes ?
Yep. This was a bet that didn't pay off at all. Shame as I looked at ggp and tils at 45p. Chose this as we had who approval and seen where it had been before on that mad run.
Turn off your screens and come back in 3 months.
I know it is difficult not to check for intraday movements but this isnt going to improve quickly.
You have to ask yourself if you believe covid will return this winter or not? If you believe it will, then you'll get an opportunity to get your money back, me included..
I'm not convinced bod will deliver. Only thing that will save us is sentiment. Look at the Nasdaq and covid plays there are flying as cases continue to spiral in the states.
Another wave and covid stocks will see a dramatic uplift much like they did in March again.
I dont know this as fact, it's just my thoughts.
The rampers that were here are a disgrace but unfortunately that's life, people hide behind a screen name and talk nonsense.
People dont really make money on the AIM, if you want your investments to grow, stick to FTSE 250 and 100. Rampers on here will always tell you how they bought in low and sold really high, have 20 houses and live on a yacht etc. Maybe it paid off once or twice but its not a strategy to have. Unfortunately it seems like a lot of us were taken in by covid stocks being the next .com boom.
Market Makers letting people sell but not buy. They are loading up. Bought a few at 68p if you can get a quote. Manipulation at its best.
You know what early on I was fooled by that. New to the aim game and the 3 quid next 5 quid next month. Contemplated going all in easily 3 bagging. Then came to my senses and went nope.
lol at least they wernt lying about not seeing those prices again....
I remember everyone here going won't see these prices again. Average down. If I'd listened I'd of put my whole 14k pot chasing down my average never to see it rise. Must of been 2/3 weeks ago since last green day.
Ken, that does make me wonder what rainbows Bigbench is chasing now. Hardly hear "Dont let them take your shares cheap!" - "Wouldnt want to be out over the weekend!" - "MM holding this down" - "This will be 700p by next week" - "BIG RNS dropping soon IMO"..... Where you at Bench!?
Definitely like 10000s of thousands I could average down but why risk losing even more
Ken, just go and buy HEMO and see how you get on, your hindsight abilities are terrific
Same 1k now worth £380. Shame as Tils and hemo are green. Must be some huge losses in here now.
