Found a potentially/vaguely interesting video of the 'winners' of the Ukraine tender talking about the tender etc from the 13th of August - but I don't have time to watch it. Thought i would post it since its a slow news day and it might have something of interest on fro someone with a bit of spare time. Make sure you press CC on the video for subtitles and go on the options ( the cog button) to change the translation to English:

good link looed
good that lil ol frr are mentioned and not on a negative slant either.
Not so good is the bigger picture in the region. Seems to be becoming more like Germany and Russia versus the rest of the world.
The eurozone is on the verge of melt down and chancellor Merkel will do anything to retain power it would seem. A very large wrap on the knuckles regarding energy dependence on Putin does not seem to have dettered her. 11 billion on Nord stream 2 - a lot of investment and investors with a vested interest there

A bot of a political and investor hot potato.
Turkeys, Christmas and votes are 3 words that might spring to mind.
That aside - 202 tcf of gas will not go away and im sure the owner of the block and the gvt with a 51 percent PSA stake will be keen to get a share of that market.
I wish they would bl88dy hurry up about it- the first part of the post probably explains the time taken and the silence surrounding. 5 yrs and 8 months until planned early retirement aged 55 to a beach on the gulf of mehico
earlier would be accepted
LMOA
still a strong hold for me.
Thanks Tsbs - much appreciated!
Hi Timster, I didn't say anything negative - I think people assumed new poster = evil shorter / son of TW type of thing.
Anyway, I don't think anything can upset RR :)
Cheers Looed,
Did you say bad things about Zaza when you started posting? Rainbow takes a very hard line on that ;)
Looed: absolutely no need to apologise; I was just highlighting it to others. It is great to see you continuing to find these articles and sharing them on here.
Cheers.
Sorry ODR I didn't realise it had sound. In future I will be sure to check and post a warning on any link I share.
Looed
Thanks for info & in the article, it mentions US helping Ukraine to move away from relying on Russia for gas.
It’s not discouraging news that’s for sure
I don't post much, and came in for a bit of abuse when I did start posting, but seeing FRR mentioned by Forbes (albeit in a few words), and in the present tense and without any negative slant, has really lifted my spirits. It might be nothing, it is just an article, but I hope others take this as positively as I have.
Forbes I believe is a good news outlet, so not a back street news paper.
If you're in the office working like me, turn your laptop volume down before clicking on Looed's link ... or you will get a blast of noise that will rumble you!!!
Not read it yet, but Frr mention in this western article I say can only be another positive.
First time I have seen this reported in the "western" press, rather than Ukraine / Russian press
FRR gets a little mention
