Hi Ibs45. I didn't understand your 1st post. Following your 2nd post I did the google but now am none the wiser - your point is?
Hi johnpwh, because the Chinese are a major cash upfront customer not to certain why this is a problem as I'm certain our price is priced to sell!
I've said before that a lossmaking company on AIM operating in Kosovo in a start-up situation without industry experience is a pure gamble and not a stone wall (sorry) certainty. Think on - the SP reflects this.
PS On a lighter note. As a good Tottenham boy I know that after years of under achievement it is possible to, with the right investment, start to dream of glory!
As a past shareholder (who tried to convince friends to follow my lead) I have grave concerns. I'm unconvinced by the ability of top management, operating in eastern Europe with the Chinese as a major customer. If there was a few sub Saharan African links thrown in you'd have all the ducks in a row.
I wanted to believe in this but I do wonder if this is ever going to go anywhere. I read a post on a thread for a different company earlier 'This is not a deramp as I have no intention of coming back in here', and I'll say the same. I do hope it works out for shareholders but please remain objective.
This company is a slow motion train wreck. You've all had the chance to jump.
Where is "a few million" going to come from? They're already up to their eyeballs in unpayable debt are they not?
That’s the challenge is there enough business in these others to get the numbers we need ? Focus will never do fox any harm to get volumes and as these quarries become more valuable deals signed in 2012 when still just a grass field might seem unfair. Which side will the actual law come down on, Chris will be thinking in support of the only trades company in uk within Kosovo as the government wants good press otherwise business will leave or not even arrive
Even if we have to pay an extra few million not the end of the world. Once we own the quarry outright, our margins will increase exponentially. Let's hope we get this mess sorted out asap.
Luck seems to be against us at the moment. Fox' approach to Malisheve was spot on however, it could impact financials in the short term. On a positive note, Prilep seems to be flying.
Thanks for the steer Talygarn. Political shenanigans in Kosovo - well I never did!!
Sounds like they want more money which we may have to pay. Say a face saving payment at least. As unvrkw pointed out there could be a lot of fingers in the pie and the governments attitude could be important. Shutting down the quarry is a very good response. Adds pressure all round. May take a little time to sort and is not a welcome distraction but not I think a major long time problem.
.
I think there may me more to it given the characters involved here. However, it sounds to me like this guys wife signed a contract and that contract was bound by English law. Therefore, I would assume that Fox will file a claim in the English Courts and seize jurisdiction in the matter. From experience, I would be surprised if a legal dispute settled in the English Courts cannot be enforced under Kosovan law. On the face of it Fox seem to be in a strong position. I translated a couple of news articles. Some interesting connections here going back a number of years. https://1drv.ms/b/s!ApfJej54wSbFh_F5mCsNW9Ns-5ju9Q
We can’t be surprised by a kosovan deal done some years ago as the price of marble increases coming back to haunt them. This guy wants more cash, credit to fox their trying to do it the legal way as I’d be surprised if everyone ranging from police to health and safety haven’t wanted their slice.
Be interesting to see whether Kosovo wants less corruption or not, that’s what they are preaching to get inward investment so who will win with this example?
So what’s the goss on the “secret shareholder”.
Always felt there were murky waters here, which is why I was glad to get out at 12p and take the £8000 loss.
Wow, Chris 'The Don' Gilbert making physical threats! And one bloke with a secret shares of profits ….. good luck with that one!

Sorry to see this news, I honestly am. Per my post 4th July, FOX is not going to get anywhere if the senior management remains. Investors in tiny operations like this have to believe they have discovered an overlooked secret, but this one just seems to stumble from mediocrity to mediocrity. You have the almost inexhaustible quality assets, a modern plant, cheap labour force, this should be romping along. Where is the STAR Alliance now (or whatever I was called), they cant even run their own business successfully let alone get involved in that ? But how many here, even those who normally send bullish posts, actually secretly dread the next RNS? GLA, and I mean that
It’s a previous deal, should imagine signed early on when success or value wasn’t as easily seen. Doesn’t this quarry also have an extra licence for 300 more hectares to be explored?
The Company, based on legal advice, continues to believe that the claims challenging the enforceability of the acquisition agreement of Green Power and Scope are wholly unfounded.
So the deal means fox could inact a purchase obviously at an agreed time and price which the owner doesn’t now like. Obviously it’s either legal agreed or not, worse case back to old deal , license. Best case judge says it legal or settled out of court for more money. Maybe actual Chris should negotiate brexit, someone’s walked away. It’s currently a loose, loose !
