Mm's the Glencore smelter has always been the most likely candidate for our concentrate. We are still yet to establish compatibility though (publicly at least) and as such we still have a couple of question marks around any possible penalties for impurities. I guess this will have to be tackled in the PFS even if there are plans for a new smelter in the region as I would imagine we would have to propose a viable option from a smelter actually in existence!
I think i posted this article the other week however i possibly missed something

Once the mineral has been crushed, it will go to the flotation process, whereby «first the lead and then the zinc are separated from the rest of the ground material, concentrating from an initial grade of around 4% to a grade of around 61 % in the case of Zn concentrate and 70% in the case of Pb ». The process ends with the processing of the residue to deposit it dry in a dump on the surface and wet back to the mine.
The product is transported by truck in bulk to a smelter, such as the one in Castrillón (Asturias) , to obtain high-purity zinc, lead and silver after refining.
Key here is the smelter

By eliminating coal mining in the region the community needs sustainable jobs.....EUZ will provide this imo opinion. Improved resource and lom to say 20 years and we will be in the pound seats....I also agree with you Sheds....somehow this project will be fast tracked.
MM...the economic needs of the local community, the way I understand the situation are very urgently required ...They need jobs and work more than ever before....The below I gleaned from a local release but if news lands soon which I very much anticipate both from operational as well as corporate level 20p is a walk in the park ...
The Ministry of Inclusion, Social Security and Migrations has only approved, until mid-March, one of four requests for Minimum Vital Income (IMV) in Castilla y León after having admitted a total of 10,932 of the 42,981 valid applications submitted by citizens in risk of extreme poverty, especially in households with the presence of minors. Therefore, and until that date, which is the last one provided by the central government, the IMV reaches 10,412 households in the Community in which 27,194 people live, of which 41 percent are minors. The average payroll for this non-contributory Social Security benefit amounts to 459 euros.
If the right news land @MM, I dont think you will see 20p.
It will fly past that without stopping for breath.
100m MCap inbound IMO in pretty short order.
There does seem to be more stability about the SP even though the mcap is still IMO ridiculous (even pre funding news). Personally I think the stars are definitely aligning both operationally and I hope at last with funding. From the local noises I wouldn't be surprised if the project is fast tracked, at least as much as is practically possible. I do have a slight concern that as the authorities start to eye our resources with increasing interest that the shareholders aren't forgotten in all the excitement. To be honest I can't quite put my finger on what it is that's worrying me, perhaps just that general perception that there might be that we have our noses in the trough of their minerals. Hopefully the Spanish team will emphasise that being an EUZ shareholder has been anything but a gravy train and without us the resource would not be proven to this point where it is looking more and more exploitable for everyone's interests.

Twitter getting confident ...Any positive news this will go above 20p :)
Iberdrola MCap.....€71.5bn
Yes very interesting steven, we have the Mayors saying they want our metals used within the region as well. That just isn't how supply chains normally work but these are extraordinary times and we are seeing companies like Tesla moving to secure their raw materials directly. I read something this morning on Mining.com about copper porphyry deposits being almost exhausted. Smaller copper deposits like Toral could become.... well.... gold mines :)
Interesting read... ... Iberdrola?

Europa Metals Limited (LON:EUZ) is developing the Toral project in Castilla y León region in north-west Spain.
Findings of a preliminary economic study in December proposed an operation of 700,000 tonnes per annum operation over a 12-year life.
Europa said Toral is a very robust project capable of producing high-grade saleable concentrates within an EU jurisdiction.
The study pitched the project’s net value (NPV) at US$156mln with an internal rate of return (IRR) of 31.3%.
Upfront capital requirement is estimated at US$79mln and life-of-mine operating costs are seen at US$477mln.
The mine is predicted to generate US$963mln of revenue over life-of-mine, with life-of-mine earnings (EBITDA) forecast at US$471mln.
Europa highlighted the deposit is still open to the east and also at depth, which allows for production expansion
Exciting times ahead!
