Cheers Numpty,
I'm pretty up to date with the project and that Rns is a great example that shows how how advanced the project is.
It's hard evidence and positive results from future hydro testing that will be pivotal in a future mining licence being granted.
Like I said....that is my only concern.
The economics of developing Toral seem to be pretty sound.
B1ll, Feb 28 rns May help.
o 245.55l/s flow across the proposed mineable project area falls well within acceptable levels for economic mine development; further work, including a borehole test, will need to be undertaken to enable a pre-feasibility study ("PFS");
·; Future project operations deemed unlikely to have a detectable influence on the Sil River located in the immediate vicinity.
Laurence Read, Executive Director of Europa Metals, commented:
"Assessing water conditions is a crucial component of any mine development proposition. The monitoring of local water conditions from the newly installed piezometers will enable us to model and understand the existing local hydrogeological conditions to thereby ensure that the correct mine development decisions are undertaken for Toral, with reference to project location.
"The results from the initial conceptual hydrogeological study on the Toral Project are positive, outlining a water management scenario that falls well within acceptable boundaries for mine development in terms of economic viability and environmental management. Additional work will need to be undertaken in order to test the conceptual study's findings, but the initial results indicate that Toral should have limited impact on the local water conditions and that it does not suffer from any significant water issues that could impact on the future economic development of the project."

Cheers Lostcause,
The potential of the Toral project is immense.
-The preliminary Mets look fantastic.
- The indicated resources look to be very substantial.
- If high levels of deleterious materials had been detected by now I think we would already know.
It's not the funding issue that concerns me really - I personally think that that has already been sorted over the last couple of weeks and the new/old investor will have already de-risked.
The only concern I have is that the minerals are below the water table and the planned mine is within A 'close proximity' to the Sil river.
The limited Hydrology test results have shown that the water flow through the asset is within acceptable limits, but a lot more testing needs to be done.
If the upcoming hydro testing shows that the planned mine won't adversely effect the water conditions of the area or pollute the Sil river, then I think the mine will be given the green light.
Gla!
Appreciate it B1ll.
Yeah, I'm not afraid to ask the stupid questions, I'm still on my way (thankfully) down near the bottom of the foothills to the right of mount stupid of the Dunning Kruger curve having found the peak in Sirius Minerals and learnt some very quick lessons luckily early on in my investment 'career'.
Every time I see someone say "DYOR" having not actually posted any evidence/hard facts/calcs, I immediately assume they're just blagging it and reaffirming their own investment decisions which they made on gut feeling.
If people actually knew what they were doing I think you'd see a lot more facts, figures, and discussion around risk assessing those numbers to help people weigh their investment decisions. As it is, the second people start questioning each other things descend into name calling and plucking of random stand alone facts like "oh but we've got X amount of resource Y which is worth Z", which as a stand along fact is almost useless.
As I say, that's not a criticism of the EUZ board, more a general observation of many boards.
Again thanks for peoples various answers.
Good to see a ballance conversation on here..
I've been here a while and lost faith a few times.
Great to see things start to turn around. My portfolio is looking good these days, And you are right Lostcause not many people will admit to there losses, i've had a fare few over the years . Hoping now that i'm on the right side of the learning curve.
Good luck to us all....Keep the faith
Lost - LR mentioned the possibility of a new scoping survey.
@Shed + Lostcause ,
I'm still sitting on the sidelines after being in and out (out for 6months now) of Euz for various reasons.
I've got my concerns about re-investing, but I can see lots of positives too.
You're latest exchange is how a conversation should be conducted .
Good luck to all invested
Shedulike; I think there's too many people on these boards (not EUZ specifically) who think it's all a d1ck waving contest to prove "they got it right" while never admitting the times they got it wrong, while completely forgetting that none of us are big fish, and we're all just out to make some money.
Appreciate your response as well: have you seen any full calcs from anyone on the resource and what it's full value is? (I assume that's all changed today what with the 40% increase in resources)
Also; PFS - pre feasibility study? SS??
That's very magnanimous of you Lostcause, it's still not too late to snatch victory from the jaws of defeat IMO. Not a buy recommendation as you rightly point out you were worried about funding and that's still an unknown. Near term are mets, ore sorting results, new SS and PFS then eventually they are going to have to explain how they're paying for all this stuff!
Im still new, and I got this one wrong.
Bought in here some time before Christmas and lost faith and cut losses just prior to the share consolidation, largely due to funding concerns, the way LR presents, and what I felt at the time was a lack of clear direction for what they were planning with the mine.
Happy to have been proven wrong, and now considering another look.
What's are peoples thoughts on:
- Timeline for the resource and what are the next steps
- Expected key RNS' in the next few months
- Realistic valuations for EUZ
Well done for everyone who made money here, glad your work paid off for you!
