Good interims in September could give us a lift

stevo999

Suspension LOCKED
Well said GFD……all is needed is a patience !
If you’ve been through the suspension this part is stress free.
As you say we are in good hands.
Let the lawyers earn their keep !

Over 2yrs in and you believe there’s a covert bidding war.....
No chance. Not in a listed company.
GFD, good words of support there, we are definitely in good hands and no one has stopped doing their day job to concentrate purely on the sale process. Dealer55, I hope your house purchases go through without too much of a hitch, it’s lawyer’s being thorough in their jobs that’s probably holding you up, imagine trying to be thorough getting this sale to a conclusion where people are ready to put their signature on the piece of paper. I know that no matter what gets said on here it’s not going to change your situation or your personal circumstances, but chin up mate, go and get some fresh air in your lungs for an hour or listen to your favourite music. You never know, it may just relieve some of the stress you’re under right now.
ATB, Pete
Absolutely watertight from start to finish Ragsrob, very professional disposal of an asset. It has lead to people continually guessing what is happening next, what has happened etc, but, that has all helped pass the time nicely. 16 weeks from non binding to binding offers is plenty of time to have a month long bidding war included within that stage of the FSP. The main part people have evidently always been after is Monchetundra, there were people sniffing around back in 2015 after it.
All relevant info will always get dropped in RNS when it's appropriate, we have to vote it all through, so it will come as soon as it's ready. It could be after hours tomorrow to give everyone all weekend to go through everything , who knows, only time will tell.

Extemely unlikely the BoD have been approached by party(s) in regards to selling assets and these party(s) would have been engaged in any prospective bid during the FSP, not after FSP.
The BoD have had a offer that they are progressing with as clarified in RNS May and subsequent RNS's, therefore unless otherwise confirmed by the BoD there is absolutely no reason to believe any other detail other than they are continuing along that path and once NDA is closed we shall then receive details of the resulting deal assuming it reaches conclusion.

I took that as even though the BOD is focussing on this sale, there could easily be others that put an offer in or start a dialogue with EUA, IMO they came out of the FSP to incite a bidding war.
Getting maximum value for shareholders :)
The RNS dated the 12 May, stated a proposal from a credible party and the BOD's are progressing with this, so how can a bidding war also be in progress, or am I missing something.
Honestly don’t think there has been any bidding war. This would all be done and dusted if there had.
Mt + flanks deal done, pending JORC on its resources.
EUA May not have started this process having been in an FSP with the aim of selling without having to prove it all up ie not spend the money on it. Who knows. All conjecture as usual.
If Mooching is right then Sept/Oct could be party time. Sadly that leaves plenty of time for more mm games and shorting rubbish.

Fsp can be dead dealer, the NDA's were in place before it started, so, the NDA's will be in place right until the end.
GLA
Our poison pill happened in April, before the FSP ended. The bidding war happened within the FSP.
GLA
FPS is dead. They now cite the 75% AIM rule.
NDA's, RNS has stated from the start of the FSP that NDA's are in place for Monchetundra.

Good point made by gmf78 that noront only made public the 3rd offer but the 1st/2nd bids were not publicised.
