I may do the same to add a JV 115 strat
To my 65 first edition.:)
You're right Ian, love that little car. Cheers.
For me it's got to be an XK120 or 150, just to polish. My main transport would be a taxi, to and from the pub.
But I must admit a 2005 Bentley Continental GT does look like a lot of car for the money.

Right on Rod!
Rodders, I thought a capri ghia might be your thing lol
Woltan,
A man after my own heart, a Panda 4x4 for me and a Panda 2 wd for the misses, all we need around town, and a Multipla (glasshouse on wheels) for any holidays!
I have trimmed down the guitar collection a bit recently and got a 72 335. Lovely guitar however some of the gibson 70s era can be a bit so so in quality.
Fiat 500L for the daily drive and Peugeot 5008 for the weekend lol, cars bore me tbh!
Sunseeker Predator in the Med much more fun. Especially with a crew of salty old seadogs and buxom serving wenches fighting off botflies lol.
GLA.
Guitar...where do I start?? I'm not a crazy collector but I have most of the obvious bases covered with Fender, Gibson etc. Mostly electric. A Duesenberg, Patrick James Eggle or maybe a Reverend for a new one. Depending on how much I may go hunt a serious vintage semi-hollow, 70s era Japanese stuff is good. I love Ibanez. A shopping trip with price controls turned off is always nice!
Walton.....I had finished my 3 years in the Army ,three years before as a Sgt,so with my nice bit of savings bought a Sunbeam Rapier which was very apposite in its title for what was needed! My Jag now is a S type, great for reliability and a good one can be picked up for under 5k, and also keeps you inconspicuous if at last wealth is on the way. Absolutely right, keep your Panda!
The Peel P50 vid took me back to my first car in 1962, a Messerschmit KR 200. Fantastic fun for a 17 year old airman. After 70 years have graduated to a Panda Trekking, which is also great fun - and practical. Fancied a Jag with the dividend, but as it would only be used for special occasions, will rent one when I need it.
Can't be long now, GLA.
Ian, tried the Peel but the carrying strap broke whilst shoving it under the stairs...
I currently drive a beat up old Jaguar X-type, when EUA sells, I can't wait to continue driving it every day. Leather interior, cruise control, heated seats and windscreen, parking sensors, sat nav, what more could I want?
Looking forward to retiring on a small budget and doing some travelling. Not bad at 30 years old IMO.
New Pickup +shorts+teashirt+ flipflops for me jobsagooden .

Not really interested in overpriced petrol guzzling Male Mutton Musket Boosters ,
Each to there own , however ,
when they are sat in a traffic Jam watching the fuel needle drop & psychotic Rugrats booting the back of the leather heated chairs sweating like Ted Bundy ,
I cruise past on the canal in my £80 kayak supping my Rum it’s rather pleasurable.
Rums all Round
I have a DB6 And a Vanquish, but my daily driver is a Porsche Cayenne
What guitar you fancy James?
James by the time you’ve brought the timber you may just have enough to buy a hot wheels car lol. That’s assuming a sale price of £1574538 a share.
Driver that’s what I’d heard which does put me off. I was hoping the hybrid would be a lot better though.
The XC90 doesn't get out of 3rd before its out of fuel !!
I love the environmentally friendly list of supercars. I'll be buying alot of very nice hand tools, timber, a very expensive guitar and a long holiday in France near my sister if we ever get out of plague restrictions!
Newbie to be fair I’m only 34 but drive like I’m 84 lol so I don’t often go past 3rd anyway. They just look spacious and clean.
Wandgrabit, I owned a DB9 for 2 years. I loved it but good god was it expensive. It also got keyed and the body was composite and cost over 10k at Newport Pag (on insurance) Now have a Mazzer which is slightly more friendly
Novice, I like the look of them but do Volvos get out of 3rd gear :-)
ATB, Pete
