Thanks @ blearyman. At least we aren't the only FSP. But confirms my that they are not usually the obvious choice if you already have buyers interested.
Cheers Sheezer
I think I remember you posted nothing of note the last time as well

Interesting blearyman... do you have a link? Agreed it must be before end of month.
Hope it's worth waiting for.
We are the longest FSP on the take Over Panel website. Completion this week £1.80 .
Well most recent Asda sale "auction" started in July with offer agreed and accepted in Oct. This is international sale with multiple bidders, 1000s of sites and employees and billions in sales.
Other examples if you want to take a look, hgm, kaz, sky, ARM. None took over a year and counting
Really Billions, can you name them for us?
Fred dear boy . Obviously you are an expert . I am not saying it won’t sell . There seems to be a lot of guessing and to be fair not many things have been guessed correctly .
Some sort of deal will happen. It's just been too long to have nothing materialise now.
In reality, not sure why the BOD went for a FSP. Since we have apparently had approaches before the suspension it would have been a lot quicker to go via normal takeover rules. I have seen much more complex deals happen then this in weeks.
I’m not going in to detail as I have more important things to do on the weekend, however briefly it depends if you are an investor or a trader. From my prospective I am a substantial investor over many years and to all intents and purposes the BOD are working towards a sale which would mean a hefty increase in sp from this level, a win for holders. Should the sale not go ahead it becomes obvious that the directors see much more potential in mining ourselves. Initially the price would take a hit but quickly with information released and the realisation that we are sitting on a monster the price would increase as it became more of a reality and would surpass the current sp within a couple of years. So again that is a win for investors. I don’t give a monkeys for traders shorters and the like. The only way to make massive gains is to be patient which appears to be sadly lacking on this bb.
Dancingfred could you please explain in detail how this is a win/win situation?
How many more times does this need discussion. It’s a win win situation for share holders so I guess that lets you off the hook downthehatch as by your previous history you are a serial deramper.
I definitely didn't read it as antagonistic, but then my deramp-ometer is perhaps less finely tuned. There are no doubt tons of holders, some being participants on this board, who have averaged up over the last few months in expectation of sale. I believe that's still the most likely outcome. The process was initiated by prospective buyers contacting the BOD, which would have been in the form of a sketched out offer. This proceeded to an FSP in which there were multiple non-binding offers. Now those are being progressed to Binding offers. At any point if the price was wrong the process would have been halted and the FSP ended. That suggests to me that the offers are viable, and there is intention to sell. All roads lead to a sale in my eyes
I agree cweb07, what happens if it doesn’t sell
cwebb07 - you have raised a very valid point and a very brave one at that! People can only guess at the final outcome, from a personal perspective I can only hope it’s a full sale! Good luck...
1127, in you go! Celtic forever
It was not antagonist at all but appreciate you saw it that way.
My experience of those who come up with the stock reply of do your own research is that they don't really know the answer.
I hope the sale goes through but I am sure you have planned should it not.
You would be daft not to.
The way you asked it mate, that was antagonistic, the fact that you don’t seem to understand the company you are invested in or the process we are currently involved in. The fact that the risk assessment on our mining process is way way smaller that most, the fact that we haven’t declared yet what our true current worth is
Need I say more? Please do a little bit of research in the company you are supposedly invested in,
Have a good day though !
@cwebb07
We are way passed that stage in my opinion as the last piece was the DFS , its now down to the price and that is all and hopefully between a few parties.
Not long now !!!
EUA are in the perfect storm to be sold
The BOD imo could not of dreamt things would fall into place as they have done in the last 9 months
Look at NN and palladium prices and now 20% of global supply halted

For my tuppence worth.
I agree the board will want a sale and are doing everything in their power to do so as you are correct mining is attractive specialist and not without serious risks.
My guess is the sale will be dependent on
. Agreeing volume of material in the ground and this can differ greatly depending on if you are buying and selling.
. Value of materials in 1 , 2 , 5 or 10 years time.
Cost of mining and process to bring it to the market.
all of the above are huge variables which need to be finalised hence the time being taken.
Given that the share price has been held in a narrow band for soooooo long, while the price of the REMs that we sit on has rocketed, would the share price take too bad a hit? I'm envisaging that any announcement that a sale has fallen through would be accompanied by a "but this is our best estimate of what we have in the ground .... and as you can see, it's MEGA!!!"
We would not be this far down the line if the company or part of the company was not about to be sold.
This has been the focus on all the RNS and company info over the past 2 years not only that EUA is a small specialist geology and discovery company not a large scale miner which requires processing and excavation expertise.
Forget mining it ourselves it’s not happening and neither should it, it’s a job for specialist miners.
I’m happy to mine and wait as long as we still have a party of some kind. In fact right now the party seems better than anything else. GLA
I would prefer to mine ourselves if thats the case , a lot lot more money to come with the only drawbacks being the SP would take initial hit and you have to wait longer. Would imagine 2/3 years before first real dividend.
They also have time to expand with new licences etc, they are then able to realise the true value and NOT 10 % in ground . Fag packet divi calc would be 50/60 p per year (1 mill ounce Mining Plan)for the next 20 years . What is not to like
