and not just the Germans Gecko, all major car manufacturers.
DaveH - I’m sure the Japanese ev makers will also have noted that and am sure that they’ve run the same calculations as you and I likely have based on those figs.
80% of that paid out as a divi is 36bn dollars. Or nearly £9 per share at .245 including the fx rate.
Whilst I know that is properly backofthefagpacket and will be jeered at, like for like with the Talon/Tesla deal, it’s basic maths and that’s what the numbers show.
Even a tenth of that, I’ll be happy, but I don’t know what I’m missing in those basic calcs (before any of the pgms or hydrogen play is valued)… I’m sure wolfy et al will tell me.

I don’t think anyone has suggested Tesla will be buying our nickel directly as per the Talon deal but it does give an indication of the value of a mine with 75kt of nickel in it which Tesla are prepared to pay $1.5bn. Therefore that gives a market indicator as to what our assets should be worth especially as we know the mining costs for ours are in the lowest quartile.
Just looking at our nickel assets we have an official audit for NKT at 305kt we await JORC’s for our other mines but they are believed to be in the region of 1945kt therefore we have over 30 times the amount of nickel that Talon has so if Tesla came knocking we might reasonably expect Tesla pay $45bn for those on a like for like basis with Talon
We also know that nickel is the hot property in metal terms and we are getting to the perfect storm stocks are falling rapidly demand is increasing rapidly and we are sat in the eye of that storm serenely waiting to see what are BOD have negotiated on our behalf
The buyer of our Nickel could literally be 1 of a 1000 companies . That’s the beauty when you have an asset which is so desirable to so many .
Securing a guaranteed source of Nickel for many years is so important to a vehicle manufacturer , they can produce cars avoiding volatility of supply and rising metal prices which will help massively in profitability and give the potential to sell the Nickel to a competitor or another industry dependant on nickel .
So for me a deal involving a car manufacturer looks favourite for this section of EUA to be sold off other wise why specifically have KOLA NiCKEL??
The remaining assets EUA wish to sell looks to me like NN are odds on favourites. They have such an advantage over everyone else in the area. NN must be involved in this somehow?
I have a feeling we are only days or certainly only a couple of weeks from seeing the big picture. Whatever is going on it’s clearly going to be massive and I’m looking forward to receiving a chunky dividend to start getting on with life which seems to of stalled of late dealing with the pandemic and waiting patiently for EUA to sort their own affairs out !
Good luck everyone , payday is in the post and it’s not coming second class ……..

Superb announcement yesterday, I've been here over a year now, very heavily invested (probably overweight). Alas if only I had got the shares at the price some of our long term holders had. The news flow throughout the year has been positive and continually reinforced my belief that this is starting to become a proper company, to be taken seriously. I have no idea what the divi will be, I think some of the numbers being proposed are pipedreams but hey we all dream and what do I know. The important thing is, we know there is going to be one and that it will be a 'significant '.
Regarding the buyer I personally don't think for one minute that it will be Tesla, yep they are probably the most famous EV company run by a very public charismatic guy but imho Russo- American relations too unstable for Tesla to be exposed here. Dozens of other rapidly growing EV / EV battery companies now in China Nio, Xpeng as well as Japan.
Big shout out to all the top researchers on this site, they know who they are and yes I love the nautical banter. Keep it up Tilly love your posts you sound like a fun bloke and they always make me smile.
Thank you Mooching, appreciate you.
Any company
Can issue any dividend
At any time
Based on what cash it has available to do do
90% of the time, this is usually a dividend to shareholders based on profit (ie ROE)
Sometimes, a business comes across extra cash (sale of asset, unexpected profit, cash aurplus etc) and issues a special divi to shareholders.
Ie THOSE THAT HOLD SHARES IN THE COMPANY
Whatever value the board deem appropriate is "divi'd" up across all shareholders. The more shares you have the more money you get.
Aa a shareholder, you are also susceptible to debt too, and at the end of the Q.
But with regards EUA, they have no debt, are capitalised, have assets (that are increasing in both both volume and value) and are in negotiations with the biggest companies in the world to sell assets they have first mover advantages on and licences granted with the consent of the Russian government.
You can (unbelievablely) still buy these golden tickets at just 27 gbx or 27 roubles!
I missed out on BTC in 2014 (Newsnight program/divorce). Not this time.
Fill yer boots.
Can someone explain the divi to me please? Also eligibility/requirements. New to this, thank you.
