Rise above the rest ......Did the irony of potentially kick starting bickering whizzx by you as you posted earier ?? Priceless i love the fall from a high horse its a spectator sport :)
could be news well before november - but the DFS will certainly be exciting.
winter arrivals could mean an end to the war too
peace in russia and ukraine along with DFS and EUA should see a swift bounce to multiples of today by the end of the year (people were happy to pay 30-40p before and now we have a gift 5-6-7p-10p range)
Global markets arent the best with inflation but precious metals is the hedge and in months and years to come this could present a huge opportunity - bought more today and will continue every single time I can until the conclusion is here. Even a measly 40p sale sees a 7-8x return from here
even a low ball for 1.5-2bn and still a hefty return for shareholders. with capital to spend on other bargains during the 2022/23 years
I mean, well said Hector

I can understand why some are frustrated I have been at times but you need to take a step back, in fact several steps back.
The war for me has put two massive concerns in play which has been confiscation of assets and how would they return essentially cold hard cash via asset sale to UK investors.
Navigating through these tough times does require the BOD to keep their head down and work with the advisors to keep things on track.
If you spend all day looking at the SP, reading tripe in here and not actually getting on with life then you're causing your own issues.
I've no deadline for this, if they get through this unprecedented situation the SP hits in excess of £1 at some point, I'll wait for that.
Remember we were told of the huge irr from the projects in hand....if so good then these should be expedited asap....it seems they cling on one hand to dream of a multi billion sale. Cs wants to retire but may never will....at this rate...if artem can do something now is the time...sick of delays...they are creating a new meaning for endurance
Great post LB. Voice of reason. Its amazing how much BS is posted on this bb. When I first arrived (at 17p)it was a great place to be. Never mind, Im sure a current drop today of 0.4p is well worth all the doom and gloom posts. At these low level (post Russia invasion) prices, percentages can be a deceiving way of looking at gains and losses. Still underwater here but luckily Im not in any desperate need for the funds. all the best
Great summary LB. Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts. Always appreciated.
Honestly the arguments on here are pathetic. So called ‘investors’ can’t even converse as adults and discuss this share without bickering. Such an unhealthy environment.
Morning all.
Accounts released as promised before the deadline. Managed a quick 30 min skip read and it's pretty much as expected in my view. Need to read it again slowly and digest it properly later.
I notice there are no special resolutions for the AGM - could be a limp affair if not a bit lively. Was hoping to attend but sadly (or happily) flying out on holiday on 28th.
Posters this morning talking about the operating loss perhaps should look at where the capex has gone. Looks to me as if it's being invested to secure lean future operations. West K should be self financing this year and money set aside for MT DFS. Interesting and good to see additional drilling campaigns at both MT and WK and an update on the status of the power for the electric drag lines.
One area of personal concern has been the possibility of a further raise/dilution - looks unlikely in the foreseeable future (>2024).
'The Directors have concluded that the combination of these factors, including the level of the Company's current cash balances (the substantial majority of which is held within the international banking system outside Russia), and taking account of the current applicable sanctions regime, support the Board's opinion that it has a reasonable expectation that the Group has adequate resources to continue in operational existence for the foreseeable future, which management has determined to be at least 12 months from the signing of this Annual Report to the conclusion of the 2023 financial year. For these reasons, the Board believes it is appropriate to adopt the going concern basis in preparing the Annual Report and Accounts.'
Nice to see the breakdown of subs too. All safely moved offshore I see :))))
No mention of the second largest shareholder Dmitry. No because he's not a director FFS! Same as there's no mention of Hargreaves Lansdown representing the largest nominee shareholder base.
I'm invested here for the long term, not for a quick win in the next 10 minutes. This will take time to conclude especially in the current climate. The Divi even further out if you read the policy. The November date for DFS and predictions of WK breakeven later this year are pointers here IMO. Value will only be realised once the assets are sold or put into profitable production. Meanwhile the market values the co on its balance sheet and geo-risk. Genuine respect offered to other investors who are currently underwater - have shorter timescales in mind - or have cash calls looming.
Given the current geopolitical landscape and the healthy cash balance the report is comforting in my personal view. It could have painted a much worse scenario. EUA are predominantly an exploration company and that's exactly what they are reporting as doing. BAU.
Anyway looks like the Morecombe and Wise show has already started so giving the rest of today a miss here. Really don't need the agro on that front. Going to leave the scrapping to others.
AIMO etc
So, another new poster appears today, who suggests a placing is imminent, and gets four reccommends.
Mmmmm? lol :-)
