Thanks Mark. Appreciate the input from someone in the industry.
Debt or no debt
Takeover or no takeover
The fact that this is valued at less than dx group is laughable! I am in the industry My best guess is this will recover in its own right! With regards to why earnings have dropped, a large although not only reason is competition from abroad Norbert dentressangle, warborours etc started encroaching on uk haulage industry a few years back Eastern European drivers pulling everything from car transporters to amazon trailers for less than minimum wage in uk
This has been discussed in length. Check the previous posts
OK I have been looking at this ESL & still may take a punt but would like your input - AXA & Tinkler (ex CEO) have dumped half their holdings today from about 6.6% each to 3.3% so more may follow from those sources. Invesco hold 4.8% & Schroders 3.5% so I guess they may also be looking to get out in an orderly fashion idc. Hence I have left it on my watch list & will be monitoring it closely - Wincanton have been in during suspension to do DD but did not make any offer so didnt like what they found - not to say they or someother may be interested DHL for example? Part of the finance package is also at 18% !!
You’ve also got to work into the equation the terrible day the markets have had all round! People will be looking for ways to recover money tomorrow..... and here it is!
Mr Jango..it was impossible most of today too. MMs are having at a laugh at the mo.. Today PIs ploughed in..for it to just drop, drop and drop more...it cost me £5k from profits. They are not clear..theres a another 6% to go.
yeah like it went up when the last 6% was sold yesterday!....shmuck
They are out, TR1 thresoldwas crossed yesterday which they had to notify and the rest was done today based on lots sold and bought up! try another one.
All bashers have now lost total credibility here! which is great news in it sefl.
Tomorrow we fly..!!!!! oh yes.
I think the sellers are done. Why else would it be impossible to get any shares for the last 10 minutes of trading ???
If anything like today is to go by..this will drop a lot more until the 6 % left is cleared. I'll be waiting for the TR1s.
information of misinformation? Two days trading some 181mill shares traded. Couple of significant holders have shown their hand somewhat early - they had in the region of 50 mill to sell. Suggests both started their selling yesterday and Mr T crossed his line today. He was very eager to inform the market so soon. Don't think either have too much left.
This seems ripe for outside interest. Await TR1's from the purchasers who may not be so quick to show their hand.
