mrc. You’re boring pal, in the bin.
Can we revert back to our investment please rather than someone else’s
I want to know when our investment is going to increase in value

Better to move on I think, its a complex subject that even our Government hasn't interpreted correctly, and not for this board.
Chilting - you very clearly said that you thought it was ridiculous to claim that “burning bio waste that is produced from plants that have absorbed CO2, that it is somehow OK”
Now you are back pedalling and flooding the board with more spam.
I have to say I am getting a little bored of your uninformed opinions.

Its all about scale.
Drax take all the wood from commercial forestry, pellet it, transport it around the globe and burn it, producing high emissions - this wood could be used for 101 other uses.
EQTEC's tech is just used for waste - trees are trimmed and the combustible material is taken to a local gasification plant to supply power for the local community, producing low emissions - the cleaned up woodland if far less likely to attract forest fires.
Chilting - So why do you say…
“ Yes, Drax is scandalous - the logic they use is badly floored they contend that because they are burning bio waste that is produced from plants that have absorbed CO2, that it is somehow OK - ridiculous.”
As usual you are posting half baked rubbish to support your agenda (in this case getting in a ramp for another company you are invested in).

The topic is energy, from Romaron's original post - its all inclusive with oil and gas.
As you say woody materials can be a good source of biofuel - especially if it is combustible material collected from forests prone to forest fires - in California or Southern Europe for example.
Welcome on board Jan,as chilling says as long as it's balanced it's ok,I had a carrot today so the Jags burning some fuel tomorrow, gla
Chrisa - in principle it is a much better solution than fossil fuels as it burns new carbon, and currently fills a hole that other renewables cannot.
All energy has a carbon cost.
Criticising of where the woody materials come from is fair game.
Anyway this is an oil and gas share chat that Chilting is ruining as per usual.
I think the point is that they are carbon inefficient yet claiming huge tax payers subsidies
Hippy alert
Would you rather they burn coal??
Any improvement is immediately pounced on as not enough.
Yes, Drax is scandalous - the logic they use is badly floored they contend that because they are burning bio waste that is produced from plants that have absorbed CO2, that it is somehow OK - ridiculous.
Biomass and other waste, including municipal waste can be used to produce energy with minimal emissions by the process of gasification - waste is heated up to vaporise - its not burnt - and the gas produced is then used as a fuel source. Its actually the cheapest way to produce hydrogen.
The company with the tech is another of my investments - a very speculative AIM company.

My guilt has totally gone. I will follow the "Northern Monkey" and buy a classic car with a huge petrol engine !
It must be faster than his though ! oh and bigger !

YES - It is a ruddy "Renewables Factory"
This really p's me off. All this talk about co2 and a Renewables factory in the UK is one of Europe's biggest contributors to climate change !
Even ruddy worse. They get massive money paid to them by the British government to do this damage to our climate !
This whole thing is pathetic !
What's your view chilting ???
